Petty Jenkins Quits 'Thor 2'

Petty Jenkins is no longer directing Thor 2. The filmmaker, best known for directing the Charlize Theron movie Monster and AMC’s pilot for The Killing, was to have been the first female director of a Marvel Studios movie.

"I have had a great time working at Marvel," Jenkins told The Hollywood Reporter in an exclusive statement. "We parted on very good terms, and I look forward to working with them again."

I had the chance to pick up both S.H.I.E.LD. and Thor and the Warriors Four. I loved S.H.I.E.L.D.I loved Thor and The Warriors Four! I picekd it up cause I wanted to see Alex's writing. I'm a casual Thor fan, and I have little knowledge of Power Pack outside of the 80 s series. I was pleased to see that I didn't have to know so much continuity and I could dive right in. There's a lot of strong emotional set-up and I don't mind that. I need toï»¿ know these people to care. I can't wait issue 2 !

I have to say I'm on the fence regardingï»¿ Marvel Zombies 5. Marvel has not done a good job of knpeieg the mythos consistent over the whole run of titles. This first issue did feel fresh, but so did MZ4, which in the end disappointed me.I do like that they're paying homage to zombie films by calling the ones in #1 Romeros . But, really, the next issue is going to have Boyles ? Ugh, 28 Days Later wasn't a zombie film: the people in it were not dead, they're just infected./me sighs

Thank you sooo much for the Alchemist review. First of all: I laguehd my ass off at the puppy and kitty and happy-makers. Secondly, you don't have to hide. It IS a mediocre book with an unoriginal message. (on that note, I also liked Veronika decides to dieï»¿ atheists unite?)You are one crazy-looking woman but I like you and after your twilight-jibes I simply had to subscribe. Well done!

et encore thor s'en sort bien car il n'a pas subit trop de corucnrence, mise a part fast & furious.le pire reste a venir pour marvel studios qui en aout sort son film sur captain america, celui ci sort dans une periode charge9e de plusieurs autres blockbusters (harry potter, green lantern, cowboys vs aliens, super 8, cars 2) et son hero, un super soldat americain, risque fort de ne pas faire l'unanimite9 en europe et dans le reste du monde. l'impopularite9 actuel des usa dans le monde risque bien de lui coute9 cher, dans certain pays on a meme suprime9 le nom captain america du titre pour ne laisse9 que the first avenger, c'est dire la crainte des producteurs !
