Henderson Nabs 'Torque' Lead Role


New Zealand-born Martin Henderson ("Windtalkers") has nabbed the male lead in Warner Bros. Pictures' "Torque" for director Joseph Kahn, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Additionally, Jaime Pressly ("Not Another Teen Movie") has been added to the cast of the film,

"Torque" is described as a fast-paced adventure set in the world of motorcycle racing. Henderson plays Cary Ford, a lifelong biker who finds himself framed for the murder of Sleepy D., who happens to be the brother of Trey Wallace (Ice Cube), the leader of one of the most powerful and feared biker gangs in the country.

Pressly will star as China, who is forced to lie about seeing Cary committ the murder.

Jay Hernandez, Matt Schulze and Adam Scott also star.

"Torque" begins shooting next month in Los Angeles.
