David Nutter is to direct drama
Touchback written by Don Handfield, according to Variety.
High-concept drama centers on a man in his late 20s who was the star of his high school football team, but whose career was ended when he shattered his leg in his final season. After hitting his head a decade later, he wakes up to find himself back in time, a week before the big game.
Nutter's TV credits includes "The Sopranos," "The West Wing" and "Smallville."
