Neil Jordan has been hired by Warner Bros. to develop an untitled thriller written by Ann Biderman, and to be produced by Steven Soderbergh.
Variety says Jordan is also eyeing to direct the project, which came from a story developed by Biderman and Soderbergh. The film will concern a vulnerable private investigator and a prostitute in modern-day New York City.
Jordan's previous credits include
The End of the Affair,
Interview With the Vampire and
The Crying Game. His most recent project,
The Good Thief starring Nick Nolte, will be released April 2.
