New Line Cinema are to make a dark comedy pitched to them by Katherine Fugate, with Jennifer Aniston to star and produce.
According to Variety, Fugate will write the as-yet-untitled project, in which Aniston would play the wife of a wealthy politician. She's confronted with her past when the 10-year-old son she gave up for adoption resurfaces in her life.
The pitch is based on an idea from Wayne Rice ('Dude, Where's My Car?'), who is also negotiating to produce with Mike Karz ('Malibu's Most Wanted').
