Nick Lachey (Pop singer/'Newlyweds') has signed a deal with ABC to star in a comedy or drama pilot and also in a feature for Walt Disney Co, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The deal calls for Lachey to star in a comedy or drama pilot for the network and includes a feature component with the Walt Disney Co.
The pact, which could reach high-six figures, also covers the recently announced variety special Lachey and wife Jessica Simpson are doing for ABC.
Lachey recently signed for management with Original Films, and his manager, Marty Adelstein, is attached to executive produce the singer's series project for ABC.
