Usher Gets Yeah From MTV Films

MTV Films is set to produce a film built around the Usher, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The project was brought to MTV by the performer's mother and manager, Jonnetta Patton.

While the story line is being kept under wraps, the project will not be autobiographical. MTV has moved away from an earlier idea for an Usher film titled "Confessions," after the album.
