Eleven Extras Hurt On 'Valkyrie' Set

Eleven extras playing German soldiers were injured Sunday evening when they fell off a truck on the set of Tom Cruise starrer "Valkyrie" in the center of Berlin, police said Monday.
While 10 of the extras were treated for minor injuries, one was hospitalized overnight for observation after the tumble near Potsdamer Platz. Authorities said his condition was not serious. Prosecutors nevertheless have started an investigation, and the vehicle involved is being inspected for technical defects.
