Alcon Entertainment has acquired the comedy spec script "The Whole Pemberton Thing" by first-time feature scribe Mike Samonek, reports Variety.
Pic, in a somewhat similar vein to "What About Bob?" and "Office Space" centers around the volatile relationship between a young executive and his Machiavellian, oddball officemate.
As part of the purchase, Alcon will also get a first look on Samonek's upcoming feature and TV projects.
