Luis Mandoki has been hired to direct Gold Circle Films
The Winged Boy, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The feature, based on an unpublished story by Mary Hayley Bell, is described as a family film with a slice of magical realism. It centers on a young boy in a contemporary Irish village who begins to grow wings and then starts to fly.
