The Hollywood Reporter reports that William H. Macy is in negotiations to join 'Welcome to Collinwood', which is a film that is written by the Russo brothers, Anthony and Joe.
The cast so far includes Isaiah Washington, Luis Guzman, Jennifer Esposito, Sam Rockwell and George Clooney. Clooney with Steven Soderbergh are producing the movie, and Gaylord's Hunt Lowry and Casey La Scala are executive producing.
"Welcome" is described as being in the vein of "The Full Monty" and follows a group of working-class Cleveland men who attempt to rob a pawn shop. Macy would play Riley, a lovable ex-con who reluctantly joins the group in order to earn bail money for his jailed wife.
Macy, repped by Writer & Artists, recently starred in "State and Main" and next stars in Universal Pictures' "Jurassic Park III" and the indie feature "Focus."
