Juilanne Moore To Star With Richard Gere

Julianne Moore ("Far From Heaven") is in final negotiations to star opposite Richard Gere in "Without Apparent Motive," a thriller to be directed by Bille August, reports Variety.

The Splendid Pictures project tells the story of a Los Angeles County sheriff's detective who, while investigating the murders of three high-profile businessmen, discovers that a high-society femme fatale could be a serial killer. Eric Blakeney ("Gun Shy") wrote the picture.
