Kristen Johnston Joins 'Bride Wars' Cast

Kristen Johnston has entered the bridal war zone. The actress has joined the cast of the Regency Enterprises and Fox comedy "Bride Wars," starring Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway and Candice Bergen. Johnston will play Deb, a self-absorbed, opportunistic fellow schoolteacher of Emma (Hathaway).

Principal photography is under way in Boston for the film that revolves around two childhood best friends, Liv (Hudson) and Emma, whose engagements come at the same time. Subsequent wedding planning results in them picking the same ceremony location, New York's Plaza Hotel, and because of a clerical error, the same date.
