at the start in a movie a guy runs runs away from mcbain, jumps out of a high skyskaper window, we see a birdseye shot of him falling, and then he impacts into a lorry

The trinity falling out of the window is more likely inspired by the classic Manga Anime: Ghost in the Shell.
