smile well done... that pretty much what i had thought
(the fight in the place with the pillars is called 'hel coat check' so its on the way in - look at the different doors)

icansee
I agree on your loop theory and I also think that the weird looking bum at the train station is the guardian of the loop system.

How come Mero is in exile? but yet is a traffic of information? To me there seems to be two threads here. On one hand we have the Mero and then we have smith, both of them are working outside of the normal machine world system. The oracle said in both cases about Smith and Mero both want power but yet they have not battled against each other, why do you think that is? Most people who compete tend to try and take out their competitor. What do you think?

If Neo is trapped between worlds, that will give Smith a free ride to do what he feel like but yet it will hinder Mero actions of gaining power because Smith wants it all. So why does the Mero not want to help the humans because if he does not Smith wins or has Mero and smith struck a deal?

This discussion is just that a discussion we have not seen the film but just a debate.

burlyman
heres my pic
entrance on left
VVVVVVVVVVV

SimplePriest
burlyman> That's great! Cool, I didn't know that scene was the coat check. So yeah, now that you say that, that scene is probably on the way in. Good call. Thank you.

Keep 'em comin guys.

*Also, here's a random question. Does anybody remember a ship being brought down by sentinels in Reloaded? Because when I was sifting through the Reloaded clips I saw a Quick clip of these sentinels latching onto one of the ships and trying to break in. But I can't remember a scene like that in the movie, which makes me think it was another clip from Revolutions. It doesn't mean much if it's true, but I was just curious....

Korri
nice one burlee

burlyman
thanks korree

simple> the bit where they are latching on is in rev - neo and trins i guess

SimplePriest
Ok, thanks burly. That's what I was thinking. cool

keep 'em coming.

JediHDM
Simple> ok, because of the new info courtesy of IGN, the beginning is still on the Hammer, and Trinity finds out Neo is still Jacked in somehow, thats why they go to see the Oracle. Also, i think the part where Seraph kicks he guy, in the parking lot, is before they enter the actual club, because i think they drive up, go to the door, they are stopped, gotta beat up the "bouncer(s)", enter, gotta get past coat check dude, finally enter, got guns pointed at everyone, etc...Also, i think the wild hair dude is like Charon, taking the obselete programs from club Hel to the Source...this is what he is doing when he punches neo, cause its not neos time yet, but the family, or at least the parents, are up for deletion...Maybe Neo was pulled back ino the matrix to save the little girl, maybe the observer dude PULLED him in, to take the girl out...???
and the loop...if anyone knows of recursive loops, that dont have parameters that cause the loop to stop, this is it...except the are parameters, maybe its like the doors, that you need a key for, perse opens the door, for trin and Morpheus, to get Neo out, whereas if Neo opened the door, he would see a brick wall, or something...

interesting thoughts

burlyman
"you know what has to be done"

SimplePriest
JediHDM> thank you. And thanks to all.

Burlyman> yeah, I figure that pic is when they're driving to Hel club. BTW, it sounds like that's going to be a big part of this movie. There is the parking lot fighting, the coat check fighting, and the in the room with Mero fighting. Not to mention the discussion they're sure to have and details they'll reveal... Should be interesting happy

SimplePriest
JediHDM> hmmm. I like your thoughts on the bum guy. And about the way to get in and out of the loop. "That sounds exactly like the thinking of a machine to me."

icansee
Hey look.

icon
yeah we know

burlyman
the escort is the same is the guy seraph kicks in the car park in rev

SimplePriest
Ahhh, the rabbit hole gets deeper. good call burly
You've definitely been helpul

Well seeing as how there hasn't been much opposition to this theory I guess people find it pretty sound. Of course we won't know until Nov 5th how the story really unfolds... Thanks for your help all. And if you guys find anymore interesting facts related to this part of the story please share them with us all.

Ok lets see what other parts of the story we can figure out happy

Red Texas
Good call, man. If it is a loop, how would he get out of it? any ideas?

Sifer
Take the train to the next stop...lol. I think Mero is in control of Limbo (it makes sense if he is indeed Hades/Satan/Lucifer etc). So can therefore allow people access in and out of it.

The Omega

burlyman
why is the bum/spectator/observer/timekeeper jumping the track at another station huh hm..

JediHDM
Maybe he's not jumping, but was thrown...

Sifer
He's jumping - It's the same style jump as Trinity does in the first movie when she is jumping across the rooftops smile

The Omega
Sifer> You always notice these things. is the train-station above the same as then one from M1 where Neo and Smith fought?

burlyman
.....no because on the right of the track would be a wall
unless your suggesting that there is more than one track and the pillars etc are all the same shifty

The Omega
Burlyman> You're right! I forgot the wall, and there WAS only one track. Arigato smile

JediHDM
if you were thrown in front of a subway, wouldn't YOU flail your arms and legs, trying to get to the other side?!?!

burlyman
yes yes

he rises his arms when he jumps, and does a running thing with his legs (like trinity in M1) because its no small jump!

The Omega
In the trailer shot it looks like he IS jumping.

But the origianl question was why. Answer: To get someone or get away from someone - probably wink

JediHDM
But if Neo has no power, why jump, why not just attack back?

The Omega
Could it be that the Limbo-Neo doesn't remember who he is - and what he can do - until he sees, say, Trinity?

JediHDM
perhaps, but that would require Neo to attack the observer before he talks to Trinity...

The Omega

JediHDM
Possible, but i dont think so, and this is why...

After Neo is hit by Spectator, we see him look up, away from the wall, which would be right after he was punched by the Spectator, meaning that he looks up as the doors close, or he looks up to see that the sub has already gone...I dont think Neo sees trinity until after the sub has left...

FallenForever
Omega, that's an interesting idea, but Jedhi has got a point too, idk confused

The Omega
Oh yes, definetely (Finally found this thread again).
It's conceivable that Rama Chandra, wife and girl won't play a large role in Revolutions. After all, people hwo didn't play ETM should also be able to watch it without going "Huhhhh...who?"

JediHDM
yes, thats true, however, point-in-case against that is Michael Popper, although that is Animatrix, but same idea...

forumcrew
and even if they didnt play.. its not hard for people to find out what happened extra in the game.. plus its a deep movie with a ton of connections, so I wouldnt put, putting something important in the game... like jedi said the animatrix had a lot of key parts.. and they couldnt expect everyone to watch that

JediHDM
exactly

burlyman
yeh, i think it was Nona Gaye (who plays Cass) that said, you dont find out as much about the merovingian terminating the oracles old shell, as you do in etm

miggfl
The trainman is his name. He's not a time keeper, he just wears the watches because its part of his character.

He is made to represent the ferryman from the old egyptian myths. In ancient times the ferryman would transport souls from the land of the living to the afterworld.

In the matrix, the trainman acts as a ferryman between the real world and the machine world. Limbo is not a loop. The fact that rama and family are being put on the train means they are being sent BACK into the matrix, OR, they are being escorted OUT of the matrix to the real world (into machine bodies, etc)

The ferryman aspect makes sense in terms of the limbo aspect. Its possible that this train is the metaphorical representation of something which occurs every single time a human jacks in or out. They take a train from point a to point b, but never realized they were making that journey because its almost instant.

However, if something where to go wrong with the link, or as in etm, the mind became fragmented or separated from its host, it makes sense that the conciousness would remain in between the two worlds. In limbo. This is why neo has no power there. Its not truly in the matrix world. If anything, its in the trainmans world.

It will be an interesting scene no matter what as we find out what purpose the child has.

rysdigital
wow, miggfl. nice theory. i think you've really spoiled that part of the movie now though, bastard stick out tongue

miggfl
lol sorry! big grin

JediHDM
wow, its amazing that i said basically this like a month ago...Hmmm...

Korri
laughing out loud

burlyman
woopsy, i ment Zee

Oli
good stuff. Oli

Oli
according to this forum matrixrevelations.clan.st there is something to do with legendary Orpheus and his abilities due to his immortality. Very interesting, tell us.

Sifer
Where did you say this Jedi? I don't remember seeing it...

Oli
i said matrixrevelations dot clan.st (replace dot by .) as as I am new I am not allowed to post links.

Ta, mate, Oli

burlyman
haha he was talking to jedi

Korri
huh

JediHDM
Father of the little girl

Half way down the page.

After reading all of your interesting posts. All I have to say is this.

BRAVO! eek!

The Omega

JediHDM
perhaps NEO was IN the SOURCE, but he had to CONCIOUSLY make the decision to return, so that he wouldn't be tricked into it, because that is NOT choice...

The Omega

JediHDM
yes, but one could explain that off as the oracle misleading Neo ONCE again...but, yes, she did say that...
