nightcrawer89
this movie looks good . i can't tell you who is in it but when i find out i will tell all.until then it will come out jul 1 05

Myth
It looks good? There is no trailer and you don't know the actors so how do you know it looks good?

Kes
Yeh, not much info:http://www.killermovies.com/f/fantasticfour/

Samas-adian
Considering the director left over creative differences.... i have a feeling this movie is somewhat going to suck....

I think just a cash in to make money and NOT to put the fantastic four as a good movie.

nightcrawer89
i should have more details soon.

Cinemaddiction
They need to start being a little more careful as to what comic books they adapt to movies. I mean, the Fantastic Four? That's actually a somewhat older, more obscure title.

They will have to modernize the hell out of it, and sacrifice alot of the titles unique factors to make it Hollywood material, I think.

Why not wait and see how Punisher and Hellboy do before openng the comic movie flood gates?

nightcrawer89
ok understandable

whatshisface
the comic movie flood gates are already open. and people are making money off of it. the first fantastic four was crap. i think they are rethinking the releae date on the new one because of potential competition.

Cinemaddiction
It's been pretty sporatic, until the success of "Blade".

Before that, it was really only "Punisher", "Flash Gordon", "The Phantom", and "The Avengers", and all but Flash bombed.

nightcrawer89
ok

TheFilmProphet
It has just been confirmed that Jessica Alba will play the Invisible Woman in the new Fnatastic Four movie now it is truly going to be a terrible terrible movie everyone.

Alpha Centauri
You've seriously gotta be kidding me.

I find that hard to believe seeing as Human Torch is her son and she's only young herself.

-AC

SnakeEyes
holy crap! are u for real? that is horrible, horrible news

Alpha Centauri
Wouldn't let me edit:

I was thinking of Franklin. Not Johnny.

-AC

Jury
i found a related news... about the movie...

20th Century Fox has almost found its fantastic foursome to bring Marvel Comics' original superhero family, the Fantastic Four, to life on the big screen, according to a recent report by Variety. The studio has signed King Arthur's Lancelot Iaon Gruffudd as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, The Shield star Michael Chiklis to play Ben Grimm/the Thing, and Cellular's Chris Evans as Johnny Storm/the Human Torch. For the role of Sue Richards/the Invisible Woman, Sin City actress Jessica Alba has emerged as the most likely candidate, though Rachel MacAdams and Keri Russell are also in the running.

"We see Fantastic Four as the last great jewel in the comicbook crown," said Fox production prexy Hutch Parker. "The casting has been extremely important in terms of fulfilling expectations of an audience that's been incredibly loyal to these characters for over 40 years."

Based on the 1962 Marvel Comics book by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the Fantastic Four centers on four astronauts - scientist Reed Richards, his wife Sue, her brother Johnny and their friend Ben Grimm - who develop superhuman powers after their experimental spaceship is exposed to cosmic rays. They band together to fight against the evil Doctor Doom.

The $85 million-$90 million pic is headed for an August or September start in Vancouver. Planned release date is July 1, 2005, when it will face off against Paramount's Mission: Impossible 3. That will mark the second Fourth of July weekend bow in a row for a Marvel-based superhero pic following Spider-Man 2.

The Fantastic Four is being helmed by Barbershop director Tim Story from a script written by Simon Kinberg. Producers are Marvel, 1492, Constantin and X-Men producer Ralph Winter. Production on Fantastic Four is being overseen by Parker and Senior VP of Production Alex Young.

moonwalker741
real poster?, niice wink

Alpha Centauri
*Hears explosions*

Can someone hear bombs?

-AC

TheFilmProphet
The person is who tried to correct me was wrong 20th Century Fox announced Jessica Alba will join the cast officially.

VENOMfan
I have a bad feeling about this, the Thing should be in the same boat as Hulk, he isnt as large but should still be a CGI/live action cross.....

I think you can find a pick of the prototype for the Thing at superherohype.com

Ill try to dig it up tomorrow

Jury
blink uh.. was that me? confused

moonwalker741
what is your source

moshtitan
oh man...thing has to be cgi...what the hell mad

Alpha Centauri
This movie is gonna suck.

Watch Tim Story's head be up for bounty if he messes up Dr.Doom.

-AC

moshtitan
ill save you some trouble.... http://www.superherohype.com/fantasticfour/index.php?id=1580

TheFilmProphet
I know a site that has a picture of the prototype of The Thing but they won't let me post the link so just put these together creativemovies . homestead . com
Then go to the photo gallery

Alpha Centauri
Well The Thing looks pretty cool. His head looks weird shaped but it's cool besides that.

-AC

moonwalker741
here, for the clicking links impaired

http://www.creativemovies.homestead.com/thing.jpg

moshtitan
let it be known that picture is not what the actual Thing will look like,as that is just a prototype designed by someone not even working on the movie.its all in the article.

norrin radd
jessica alba is a very a hot girl, but she isnīt the right choice to play sue richards.

vu_Quang
I'm feeling sad for this movie. SpiderMan was a Marvel movie that was done so well why not the other members of the franchise.

Jessica Alba could make a sexy invisible woman. as long as they do now the relationship as sister (not son) of the human torch. she' older(i'm sure) but i think it'll work out fine. (I really love Jessica alba) love

Thing not cgi? i hope he's cgi because i dont want to be reminded of caramel popcorn the whole movie.

guy who directed barbershop?? was that a good movie anyone, this is a whole new genre ?

*crosses fingers and thinks please dont suck please dont suck please don...*

moshtitan
barber shop was one of the worst movies ive ever seen.

Linkalicious
and who exactly confirmed this? Care to provide a link?

TheFilmProphet
It has been confirmed for a few months now by Twentieth Century Fox that The Fantasic Four will have a $80-$90 million budget when even the first Spider-Man had a $150 million budget. This is considerably low especially when taken into consideration that Torch has to be completely on fire, The Thing has to be made out of rock, and they have to go into space.

TheFilmProphet
To the guy asking who confirmed this just in case you didn't read my statement earlier the news was announced by Twentieth Century Fox on Tuesday.

ScarletSpider
I'm going to reserve judgement for now, lest it come back and bite me in the ass. I have seen purportedly bad actors, or actors that didn't fit the part find a way to make it work. Although I do have my doubts...it's too early to completely denounce the movie.

Alpha Centauri
I'm not bothered about Jessica not looking like her although I think they should. Coz Michael Clarke Duncan isn't exactly a Kingpin lookalike and he played that role well I think.

Jessica Alba is a below par actress despite being shit hot.

Ioan Gruffud has gone from low league tv shows to King Arthur to this. As the leading man also.

The voice of Michael would work for The Thing. I can't say I'm familiar with the man playing Jonny.

-AC

TheFilmProphet
Who do you guys think will end up playing Victor Von Doom?

Alpha Centauri
Jude Law was the #1 candidate when it first began circulating. He would be great. I think.....Henry Rollins should play him.

-AC

ScarletSpider
Stuart Townsend would be a good pick, I think. In LXG, he certainly had the superior aristocratic air, with a touch of sinister about him that Doom perpetuates.

chrissyg
this is the fantastic four disscusion for the movie i wasn't sure if there was one or not so i made one

whens this movie gonna come out worldwide i heard july 1st 2005 was gonna be the date.who are the villains gonna be just dr.doom or more?

Manowar
JUST Dr. Doom? do we need another besides him??? well, Super Skrull would be nice

chrissyg
well theres 4 good guys 1 bad guy its not gonna work well

chrissyg
i think if they were to have galactus and one of his heralds that would be kool

Alpha Centauri
Galactus? That would mean Surfer.

I wouldn't mind him having a movie career as a cameo guy if it was done right. The coming of Galactus. More people want Doom though. In a movie with a $90 mill budget, they have to make two completely CGI characters aside from Jonny's human form. They wont be able to make Galactus, his ship and any heralds.

-AC

TheFilmProphet
Has anyone ever seen the unreleased Fantastic Four film of 1994? Which has been widely available on bootleg for years.

Manowar
heres a picture of the FF from www.superherohype.com

http://www.superherohype.com/ff/images/2header_ff1.jpg

TheFilmProphet
Do you think they can incorporate all the characters and story with $85 million?

Manowar
i heard that that dude from The Shield (the tv series) is going to play Grimm...i believe his name is Michael Chiklis

chrissyg
r the fantastic four mutants or werent htey born with them powers?

Manowar
no they werent born with them

ScarletSpider
They're humans mutated by cosmic radiation.

chrissyg
o ok i wasn't sure wat does dr.doom do?

Arachnoidfreak
Dr. Doom is just a bad-ass mofo.

ScarletSpider
Dr. Doom is the egotistical genius and ruler of Latveria. He can create, invent and build pretty much anything he needs for a given task, but on any given day, his armor lets him lift 2 tons, provides resistance to injury, generate force fields, some offensive weaponry, and seems to carry a pistol weapon of some kind, and most likely a few other odds and ends abilties. That's his classic armor at least.

Last I knew, he'd upgraded to some new-fangled mystical armor, but I haven't followed FF that closely, so it may have changed since last I knew completely. He's also a magician, although nowhere near Dr. Strange's abilities.

ScarletSpider
Honestly, no, I don't think they can. If this is Marvel's premier, flagship first team of super-heroes, then it should be given a bigger budget. Hulk's budget was 120, and FF should/is going to have way more effects than that.

TheFilmProphet
Anyone think they will keep the original concept from the comics for the Dr. Doom costume?

Arachnoidfreak
They better. Doom doesn't need a costume change, he's so badass, he has a big "D" on his belt.

chrissyg
o ok but i think galactus is better

TheFilmProphet
Superherohype posted this interview with director Tim Story on the Fantastic Four movie

It's funny, high adventure," he said, confirming rumours that that the Tim Story-directed movie will be primarily a comedy. "But you are going to tear up too. It's a bittersweet comedy."

But what of Dr. Doom who, as Marvel aficionados, is so evil that he might not transfer very well to a knockabout laughfest. "Dr. Doom is going to be amazing," said Arad. So he won't be comic relief, then? "No, serious. Human, and serious. It works!"

Arachnoidfreak
Well, he's basing the entire movie on Ultimate Fantastic Four, not the classic comics. This is gunna suck.

TheFilmProphet
True or false The Fantastic Four will be a great film?

Jargon343
I'm thinking 'Avengers' but perhaps they could pull it up to almost 'Batman and Robin' level if they really try.

VENOMfan
many thank's Moshtitan

Alpha Centauri
If they mess up Dr.Doom this is how it will work. Victor Von Doom I trust will have dibs on the head. Therefore I shall inflict severe pain onst thou upper torso. You's guys can take the leftovers.

-AC

chilled monkey
This will probably be a waste of Jessica's talent. Still, I know she'll be great in it. I'd just prefer her in a role similiar to 'Dark Angel'. Still, she probably doesn't want to get typecast. You have to respect that.

Alpha Centauri
Like I said in the other thread, her movie repetoire is the likes of Honey and.......well Honey.

She's now in the movie adaptation of arguably the world's most famous superhero collective. I'd say that's a step up.

-AC

DarkCrawler
Dr.Doom over Galactus in anytime in my opinion. He is just cooler.

But on the other news...Jessica Alba as invisible woman...sick

No offense to Jessica Alba...I just can't see her as Sue Storm.

chrissyg
no your right

Alpha Centauri
I can't see her in any film that requires acting.

-AC

chrissyg
ya but i still want galactus to be in the movie with silver surfer

Alpha Centauri
Never gonna happen.

-AC

TheFilmProphet
Superherohype posted this interview with Ioan Gruffurd who plays Reed Richards

Tonally, the movie is, according to Arad, a bittersweet comedy, something Gruffudd was keen to confirm. "There's quite a bit of comedy in this and there's that romance between Reed and Sue Storm. And there are four of us, so we're all relying on each other. I have no idea where the script is going to go, but there's certainly plenty of action and us getting a chance to use our superpowers. It's going to be interesting because there are so many fans out there of the original and what they do and I hope they try to remain true to the comic."

Indeed, it seems it shall, right down to the costumes. "Yes, it's going to be a traditional, Spandex, blue Lycra suit with black leather boots. So I'm looking forward to that," laughs Gruffudd. And will he be sporting Reed Richards' traditional graying temples? " I think the idea will be that once they're exposed to the radiation up in space that turns them into the Fantastic Four, as a result of that I'll start to have the greying hair. But I think it'll be subtler than it is in the comic books. More dignified, like George Clooney!"

Alpha Centauri
It's gonna suck. I'm making the judgement call.

-AC

moshtitan
lol. im waiting too see it before saying it sucks, but ill admit it doesnt look too good.

manjaro
jessica alba is a good actress but i dont buy her as a mother or a blonde.hopefully if we all keeep our fingers crossed this wont turn out to be antoher X2 where they had the movie overflowing with unneccasy charcters

moshtitan
she doesnt become a mother till later on. very later on.(did that make sense)

manjaro
I wish they would seriously reconsider b-cuz Mike Chiklis is and looks older than all of them. moreso he looks like some creepy old guy hanging out with a bunch of young kids. So i dont buy him as the College roomate of this lancelot guy who looks much younger, and most importanlty Jessica alba looks too young to be this lancelot guys longtime sweet heart. and unless there gonna cast Johnny as a teenie bopper I sincerely doubt that jessica havin a yonger 20 somethiing brother is gonna be beleivable

moshtitan
hopefully it all work out in the end.

FeceMan
Do I even need to make a comment?

chrissyg
wat? is that a smart remark?
i think it should be galactus airwalker, terax and silver surfer thatw ould be so awesome

Wolfie
Jessica Alba as Invisible Woman is terrible casting. I have nothing against Jessica Alba but she looks nothing like Sue Richards.

DarkCrawler, why did you call her Sue Storm? She's married to Reed Richards, Mr. Fantastic, not Johnny Storm, the Human Torch.

Shadow_King
i think this movie was a mistake to make.

Manowar
her REAL name is Susan Storm-Richards

chrissyg
shadow_king the movie isn't made yet they don't even have all there cast done yet

Manowar
yeah they do...well at least for the four they do:

Ioan Gruffudd - Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic
Jessica Alba - Susan Storm-Richards/Invisible Woman
Chris Evans - Johnny Storm/The Human Torch
Michael Chiklis - Benjamin Grimm/The Thing

manjaro
I would go with Doom as the bad guy b=cuz i think ppl R more readily familiar with him than Glactus (ppl who dont read comics that is) besides the money they would save from not having to do too much cgi other than them utilizing thier powers and intense action sequences would be astounding. also, if you add galactus then you would have to tell his life story.......then since SS is everyones fav herald, you 'd have to tell his life story too

so for now I think theyre just gonna touch on how they got thier powers and how they used them for the first time. all the major development s are probably gonna be in sequels

TheFilmProphet
Anyone think they will have the Fantastic Four headquarters with the gigantic 4 on top like the comics?

Magee
lol they dont have to tell their life's story blink

I think it would be good to have dr doom as there main enemy, show us how they got their powers, what happened to doom to make him look like a monkey's but and maybe at the end have SS show up? and then if they were planning to make a second one have him in it explaining why he's there, herald of Galactus, searches for planets that he can feed on and then have Galactus turn up?
dunno just a crappy idea wink

TheFilmProphet
I don't think they are sure whether or not they will have Torch flames all over his body or if it will just be his hands. I think The Thing will be a bit short since Chicklis isn't all that all maybe mini Thing?

chrissyg
i think its a good idea but r they gonna bake dr.doom look more like a human or r they gonna make him wear wat he ushally wears?

Magee
more like a human? He is a human its just he wears armour and is well but ugly due to the fact he got burned. They better not change his style or someones gonna get hurt

Manowar
yeah i heard an interview with Sam Raimi and he said they will have Doom and he will have his armor

chrissyg
awesome does doom have anybody that works for him or well it be 4 on 1 movie?

Manowar
what you mean like will he have Doombots? he probably will Doombots, yes.

chrissyg
ok kool i wonder if they well look the smae or different

Alpha Centauri
"Jessica Alba as Invisible Woman is terrible casting. I have nothing against Jessica Alba but she looks nothing like Sue Richards."

Yeah but Michael Clarke Duncan looks nothing like the Kingpin, I think he played him great.

This movie man, gonna suck major ass.

-AC

chrissyg
well it doesn't seem like its going to be that good

Alpha Centauri
Come on. Look at the cast and look at what has been said so far. It's almost a dead cert. If not I'll eat my own flesh.

-AC

Manowar
i actually want to see it, because of my curiosity...but we all know the saying Curiosity killed the giraffe...

Alpha Centauri
Forget this. I'm waiting for Hellboy (I'm in UK) and Alien Vs Predator.

-AC

Manowar
Alien vs Predator is going to be killer

Alpha Centauri
Yeah. I haven't watched a knockdown drag-out, flesh-tearing blood and guts flick for a while. This should be great for that even if the plot sucks.

-AC

Manowar
yeah Batman vs Predator (the original series) was sweet and Superman vs Alien was rad

chrissyg
is alien and predator D.C. property and is hellboy d.c. or marvel?

Alpha Centauri
Hellboy is Dark Horse Comics.

-AC

Manowar
Alien vs Predator AND Hellboy are both Dark Horse Comics

Arachnoidfreak
Of course they will have the Baxter Building. And if they don't, there will probably be a fanboy riot.

Arachnoidfreak
wtf...People need to open their eyes a little bit and look at something other and Marvel and DC. Not only is Dark Horse kick ass, but so is Image Comics, Top Cow productions, Broadway Comics, Chaos! Comics, Maximum Press, Valiant Comics, Innovation, Epic(though, it was a sub-division of Marvel) even Archie Comics is cool.

Manowar
yep

Cedwaard
I just heard that jack black is going to play green Lantern, its going to be a straight up comedey.

chrissyg
wat other is darkhouse and i never knew that any of those other ones u said existed isn't spawn a darkhouse comic?

TheFilmProphet
But I don't see how that will work at all you guys?

chrissyg
is spawn a darkhouse comic?

Manowar
no Spawn is not Dark Horse he is Image Comics

chrissyg
o ok never knew that

chrissyg
image and darkhouse should combine together to make an awesome comic organization.who r the villains on hellboy and spawn well u people put pics on if any1 finds any

Arachnoidfreak
Green Lantern...in a Fantastic Four movie...yea ok.

Arachnoidfreak
What the hell? You don't even know anything about these two comic companies, and you think they should combine? Every post I've seen you make there is the question "who r the villins??", or "what r there powers" Try picking up a comic book and reading it.

Check other threads if you want pictures of characters.

Ignorance is ****ing bliss.

chrissyg
well maybe i don't waste my money on buying comics i just like the shows and movies and if i don't know who the villains r or there powers then wat do u want me to do sit on my ass and make them up for myself of course im gonna ask geesh talk about a temper tantrum, and i know about image and darkhorse.darkhorse has alien, predator and hellboy and image had spawn so i do know about them

Arachnoidfreak
It seems like you are interested in comic book characters, why wouldn't you pick up their comics?

Someone JUST told you that Alien Predator and Hellboy were Dark Horse, and that Spawn was Image. Did you know that Supreme was Image? Darkness? Witchblade? No? How about the Conan the Barbarian is Dark Horse? Grendel? Star Wars? You don't know shit about them.

This is far from a temper tantrum, I'm just confronting you on your ignorance about comic books, in a comic book forum.

Alpha Centauri
"darkhorse has alien, predator and hellboy and image had spawn so i do know about them"

Only because they have been mentioned in threads on this board. Infact, it was you who asked.

I hate wannabes.

-AC

chrissyg
wat ignorance i don't have the money to by comics or i would and star was is darkhorse

Arachnoidfreak
You don't have $2.25 to spare on a comic book? How do you have a computer?? Not only that, but in comic books stores, they usually have a 25-50 cent bin of old/less well known comic books, which are usually pretty good.

I just told you that Star Wars was Dark Horse.

chrissyg
ya well im only 13 its not like i bought my computer and im broke i spent all my money on my paintball gun and on playing paintball and maybe if all those little comic organizations combined they would be as good as marvel or d.c.

Alpha Centauri
If you can't be bothered to read and get involved in the actual comics why do you deserve our wisdom?

-AC

Arachnoidfreak
Some of them are better than Marvel and DC, but aren't around anymore. Valiant, Chaos, Maximum Press, Epic comics are all gone. Know why they didn't last as long? Ignorant people only looked for comic books with the Marvel or DC logo on them.

If you can't pick up the comics, but love the characters, try checking websites. You know, Marvel and DC have official websites, so do Dark Horse and Image. Top Cow has their own website too. Valiant does too.

Getting asked "what r their powers, what r the villians" gets really annoying.

chrissyg
well sorry wat r the sites then?

Arachnoidfreak
www.marvel.com www.dccomics.com www.darkhorsecomics.com www.imagecomics.com www.topcow.com www.marveldirectory.com www.valiantcomics.com http://www.dcuguide.com/Who_Home.htm www.aspencomics.com (another good company).

TheFilmProphet
Fantastic Four has a budget even a fan film is afraid of come on $80 million? The first X-Men cost $75 million 4 years ago! This will be released 5 years later its just plain embarassing. mad

chrissyg
abe sapien thats the guy from hellboy

Alpha Centauri
Image are great.

-AC

badsymbiote
I like the idea of this movie. The FF have been around forever, and yet are still fairly obscure. The characters are great, and it'll be interesting to see how they pull this off--SO MUCH of this is gonna have to be CGI--and it just wouldn't have been possible before now. Still, it'll cost an absolute fortune to make, and I already klnow that it won't generate the kind of revenue that a movie like this should make--but that makes it all the more appealing.
I'm not sure about the casting--all I've heard so far is that Jessica chick is gonna play Sue, and all I can say is that her screen test must have been really impressive, because I can't think of anyone in Hollywood who less resembles the Invisible Woman, but I'll try to reserve judgment until I actually see her on-screen. I've been thinking a little bit about this movie, and have been trying to think who would be good to play Reed, Johnny and Ben.
Admittedly, the comic-book hero is a difficult role to step into, of course, you need an intelligent, yet cocky type for Mr. F--and who could play the Human Torch? Grimm ought to be easy enough to cast--just a big guy with a NY attitude, and a biting wit. My oldest son loves Johnny, and I know that his enjoyment of the whole movie will hinge on the way they portray him, but he's only 7--so his standards aren't too lofty.
It's far too soon for me to even speculate on the plot, but if anyone knows anything, I could always squeeze in some time to cogitate a little bit about the subject.

moshtitan
i thought they had secured actors in the other three roles.

Manowar
they have! i think (aside from Alba) they are excellent choices (espacially for Grimm)

Ioan Gruffudd - Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic
Jessica Alba - Susan Storm-Richards/Invisible Woman
Chris Evans - Johnny Storm/The Human Torch
Michael Chiklis - Benjamin Grimm/The Thing

TheFilmProphet
NOOOOOOOO!!!! PLEASE DON'T MAKE THIS MOVIE mad sad

badsymbiote
Thanks for the info--I haven't heard squat about this yet. And, to be honest, I have no idea who those people are. Talk about out of the loop. Any idea what the premise is gonna be?

Manowar
well i know that Ioan Gruffudd plays Lancelot in King Arthur and Michael Chiklis is the guy for the tv series The Shield

badsymbiote
OK--I know you meant for that to help me, but it seems as if I just crawled out from under a friggen rock. I think I may have seen the guy from the Shield before...but I still obviously don't know him from Adam.

Nice av, by the way. Is that the "hustle"? Do the hustle--doodododododododoo, OK, I just totally dated myself--and only those over 25 will probably even understand that vague 70's reference.

Manowar
if you go to images.google.com and search there names you can find some pictures of them

Alpha Centauri
"Grimm ought to be easy enough to cast--just a big guy with a NY attitude"

This is a stereotype that happens to be largely true. I've been there.

-AC

Alpha Centauri
"Of course they will have the Baxter Building. And if they don't, there will probably be a fanboy riot."

Hahaha. You think there wont be already? I'm no fanboy but of course I like things to stick true. I'm not obsessive about it though. There's people who go mad about thinks like hair colour. Lack of the Baxter Building will just be lack of icing on....well a cake that needs as much icing as they can get.

-AC

Arachnoidfreak
LOL, well, living here, I must not catch the "NY attitude"

Alpha Centauri
I didn't mean offense or anything. Just something I picked up on.

Have you been to Midtown Comics in the city? On Lexington Avenue I think or near there. You have to get to it up these stairs in an alley sorta thing.

I went in there and bought all the Surfer comics they had that I didn't. Was quite fun. Good store.

-AC

Arachnoidfreak
None taken.

I've heard of Midtown Comics, but never been. Also Forbidden Planet. The city isn't as big of a deal when you live here.

Alpha Centauri
Yeah I've been to Forbidden here.

The city was kind of a novelty for me but it felt more like home than where I do live so I'm moving when I can.

-AC

DarkCrawler
Oh, sorry. I was calling her as her birth name. She wasn't Susan Richards when they first went to space, right? Only after that? And he is still the sister of Human Torch?

Magee
man u guys r so lucky to actualy have comic stores!
all i have is newsagents wich sell colectors editions and ultimates, thats all!!

Manowar
so whats wrong with that? i only buy back issues from shops, all i do is subscribe to a couple of titles on marvel.com...i hardly ever go to comic shops

Arachnoidfreak
I go to the comic shop every week. Well, nearly. Money's been kinda tight lately. With the insane amount of new title that are out/are coming out, I have little to spend on back issues.

Marvel/DC/anyothers: Stop making new comics for a week or two!!

ScarletSpider
Well, to revive the thread a little bit,

http://www.comics2film.com/FanFrame.php?f_id=8661

Looks like the budget got bumped up to $100 million. Good news.

<< THERE IS MORE FROM THIS THREAD HERE >>
