Create a team consisting of 6 marvel characters who can deal with anything, they can be from any of these three universes: Knights, Ultimate, or Mainstream 616. They also all have to have been heroes at one point.

They should be able to deal with anything and anyone such as extremely powerful beings like Thanos, Galactus, Apocalypse, Onslaught, or anyone. (By the way your team is not allowed to have any of those 4, nor LT, no celestials, no eternity, death, or anyone else like that.)

Then you should pick 3 reserves.

Explain Why.

armandovalles
My Team Would be:

1) 616 Reed Richards: has the brains to figure out anything, can outsmart enemies, is a genius.

2) Ultimate Thing: has the brawn to back up Reed's brains, incredibly strong.

3) Ultimate Captain America: Extremely Resourceful, great fighter, BEST leader.

4) Ultimate Wolverine: Ruthless, great fighter, his keen senses are very resourceful.

5) 616 Gladiator: The team's cosmic being, has the abilities to go toe-to-toe with ANYONE.

6) Drax the Destroyer: Dumb as a doornail, but extremely powerful.

Reserves:

1) 616 Silver Surfer: Another incredible powerful cosmic being.

2) 616 Vision: Not very powerful, but like Reed, can outsmart enemies.

3) 616 Dr. Strange: very powerful, plus he is very smart.

brainchild81
Was Doom ever considered a hero?

brainchild81
1) 616 Reed Richards: has the brains to figure out anything, can outsmart enemies, is a genius.

2) 616 Prof X: The team's telepath.

3) 616 Captain America: Extremely Resourceful, great fighter, BEST leader.

4) 616 Spider-Man: great fighter, Spider-sense, & very resourceful.

5) 616 Silver Surfer: The team's cosmic being, has the abilities to go toe-to-toe with ANYONE.

6) 616 Dr. Strange: very powerful, plus he is very smart.
Reserves:

Without looking at any other posts.... my team would consist of:

Leadership:

Captain America. Not the most powerful hero, but one of the Marvel Universe's greatest strategists and a born leader.

Mystical Resources:

Doctor Strange. The Marvel Universe's sorcerer supreme, he'll deal with any magical occult-based threats that arise.

Technology:

Reed Richards. By far the Marvel Universe's foremost scientific genius.

Muscle:

The Hulk and Thor. The madder Hulk gets, the stronger he gets--- literally, his power is potentially limitless. Thor has been stated by Stan Lee as Marvel's "most powerful hero," and he's immortal in any case.

The Secret Weapon:

Professor Xavier. If there is any threat these guys can't handle, Xavier can telepathically shut it down. His morals would normally stand in the way, but I don't see him having much quandaries when the universe hangs in the balance....

nimbus006
Is there a max? Cuz you guys have like 7 or 8, but with a cap of 6 I would go with:
1) Silver Surfer (Cosmic Power)
2) Dr. Strange (Mystical Power)
3) The Hulk (Strength)
4) Jean Grey ( Telepath/ Telekensis)
5) Adam Warlock ( Expierence; Very Powerful cosmic being, and knows Thanos real well)
6) Mr. Fantastic ( For prep leadership, and expierence)

I would love to have Dr. Doom and Magneto in here but not sire you consider them heroes even tho they have been at one point.

Cosmo Kramer
I would have to say:

1) Captain America (Can take charge)
2) Wolverine (because he puts up with nothing)
3) Dazzeler (she is good at distractions)
4) Black Widow (she is a talented fighter)
5) DareDevil (Can take charge and be lie detector)
6) Ghost Rider (Will waste anyone)

Their leader would be Magneto and he would only help them when they truly needed it and nothing could possibly beat this team including The Hulk.

o.g. slaughter
what is tha 616 dimension. can anyone explain that to me.

Piedmon
It's the standard Marvel Universe, the six hundred and sixteenth reality in the multiverse.

grey fox
1 captain america (uber leadership)

2 ghost rider (supernatural)

3 beta ray bill (pure muscle)

4 slinger (from avvatars basicly a cooler looking spiderman )

616 is a way of describing the mainline Marvel Universe by distinction of having appeared (officially) in print for the first time in 1961, June (Fantastic Four #1). Other universes can be similarly described by their publication date. Ironically, Marvel's subsequent incorporation of their Golden Age heroes would suggest that it really should be 395 (Human Torch appears in Marvel Comics #1), but the 616 designation has long since stuck.

For my team, I'll just take the Infinity Watch. Done and Done.

nimbus006
Infinity Watch has Thanos... if im not mistaken

nimbus006
ok with a cap of 8 I would go with:

5) Adam Warlock ( Expierence; Very Powerful cosmic being, and knows Thanos real well)

nimbus006
lol thats exactly what i was thinking

ScarletSpider
When you want to deal with people like Thanos, Captain America is a waste of slot on the roster. "You guys attack, and I'll throw my shield! WHAT A GREAT TACTICAL PLAN!" Others have been shown to be great leaders and tacticians as well. Iron Man, Dr. Strange, Thor, and Scarlet Witch to name a few, plus...they have useful powers in this context!

1. Thor--Ancient Norse Warrior and God of Thunder
2. Sersi--Eternal matter manipulation master.
3. Moondragon--Vast telepathic and telekinetic powers, beyond any puny X-people.
4. Captain Marvel (Genis)--Manipulate all kinds of energy.
5. Dr. Strange--Master of the Mystic Arts
6. Iron Man--financing, and physical power to back up Thor
Reserves:
1. Radioactive Man--controls radiation for a variety of effects, is a match for Thor
2. Moonstone--did you see her in Avengers/Thunderbolts? 'Nuff said.
3. Perun--the Russian equivalent of Thor, more or less, but a lot funnier, and hella badass. My favorite insult of his, so far, "foul buttocks touching baboon!"
