Create a team consisting of 6 marvel characters who can deal with anything, they can be from any of these three universes: Knights, Ultimate, or Mainstream 616. They also all have to have been heroes at one point.
They should be able to deal with anything and anyone such as extremely powerful beings like Thanos, Galactus, Apocalypse, Onslaught, or anyone. (By the way your team is not allowed to have any of those 4, nor LT, no celestials, no eternity, death, or anyone else like that.)
Without looking at any other posts.... my team would consist of:
Leadership:
Captain America. Not the most powerful hero, but one of the Marvel Universe's greatest strategists and a born leader.
Mystical Resources:
Doctor Strange. The Marvel Universe's sorcerer supreme, he'll deal with any magical occult-based threats that arise.
Technology:
Reed Richards. By far the Marvel Universe's foremost scientific genius.
Muscle:
The Hulk and Thor. The madder Hulk gets, the stronger he gets--- literally, his power is potentially limitless. Thor has been stated by Stan Lee as Marvel's "most powerful hero," and he's immortal in any case.
The Secret Weapon:
Professor Xavier. If there is any threat these guys can't handle, Xavier can telepathically shut it down. His morals would normally stand in the way, but I don't see him having much quandaries when the universe hangs in the balance....
Is there a max? Cuz you guys have like 7 or 8, but with a cap of 6 I would go with:
1) Silver Surfer (Cosmic Power)
2) Dr. Strange (Mystical Power)
3) The Hulk (Strength)
4) Jean Grey ( Telepath/ Telekensis)
5) Adam Warlock ( Expierence; Very Powerful cosmic being, and knows Thanos real well)
6) Mr. Fantastic ( For prep leadership, and expierence)
I would love to have Dr. Doom and Magneto in here but not sire you consider them heroes even tho they have been at one point.
1) Captain America (Can take charge)
2) Wolverine (because he puts up with nothing)
3) Dazzeler (she is good at distractions)
4) Black Widow (she is a talented fighter)
5) DareDevil (Can take charge and be lie detector)
6) Ghost Rider (Will waste anyone)
Their leader would be Magneto and he would only help them when they truly needed it and nothing could possibly beat this team including The Hulk.
616 is a way of describing the mainline Marvel Universe by distinction of having appeared (officially) in print for the first time in 1961, June (Fantastic Four #1). Other universes can be similarly described by their publication date. Ironically, Marvel's subsequent incorporation of their Golden Age heroes would suggest that it really should be 395 (Human Torch appears in Marvel Comics #1), but the 616 designation has long since stuck.
For my team, I'll just take the Infinity Watch. Done and Done.
