GLADIATOR vs Captain Shazam

entire 300 fleet of imperial guard watching including marvel family and JSA

Captain marvel , confidence lasts only a certain amount of time

but he has the whole entire guard watching

i wouild like to say Gladiator but i don't know

yeah he has the entire guard watching, which means he's gonna be very very stressed /embarrassed when he starts taking a beating embarrassment is anti confidence and soon enough his powers go a bye-bye and shazam knocks him out

Captain Marvel wins, If he wants to take away Gladiators confidence, all he has to do is make fun of his outta style MoHawk infront of everyone, and then crack some more character jokes like, *Captain Marvel acts like his cell phone is ringing and answers it*, and says "Uhmmmm its Superman he wants to know if you want his ice breath too???"

In the beginning, Glads dominates Marvel, due to speed. Strength wise i say they are about even simply for the fact that Cap and Supes are equal in strength.

Because Cap's durability is better than even Supermans, he's able to take way more damage and still keep coming. Glads confidence level starts to degrade because Cap is able to take so much punishment. Eventually Marvel starts to whoop on Glads. Good fight though.

Gladiator wins

Confidence is not that much of an issue, if he knows Cm is tough he won't be surprise.

It's usually when he thinks his enemies are garbage and they surprise him that's when it hits him.

If his enemies are wroth his time confidence it's not an issue

So obviously if Glad looses Confidence he looses , but I really doubt that it’s been used a device in comics to put him down many times , but when shit goes down , and he is fighting big dawg he fights good.

And Strength wise Gladiator is beyond, Supes or CM when confident

you see i think because he has the whole entire guard watching i think that because he doesn't want to embarased himself he would give it his all and be determined to win

When the scan of him fighting Hulk was showed, there was no indication of him being sad. Not written nor stated. Was he sad when he was beating Hulk in the beginning? He was actually quite cocky in the fight.

I dont know which powerhouse took him down. Thats why i asked. When does he use all his powers and is fully confident? Who has he fought like thatand beaten? Besides Thor ive seen.

Well here is a sample of Full Confident Glads
Power

Strength = Infinite
Speed = Infinite

As long as he is Confident he can give anyone a good fight (not cosmic beings (like Big G) and big dawgs of course)

Confident (not Full because there is no such thing) battle Thor ( amped to near Light speed) to a draw.

Gladiator defeated Ron’s enemies with ease.

When battling Fantastic Four ( for the first time his powers were shown)

He created and contained a blast that can destroy half a Galaxy (when he punked a Kree ship)
-100 X light speed

-Moved fast enough to be invisible

as for Hulk , look how stupid he was acting Etc

Hyperion, Thor , Ego , Wonder Man etc

Just by gazing power level confident Galaditor operates at a much higher level than CM.

Have you ever seen a Confident Gladiator do down.

Can travel thro dimensions, can use the ligthing of his sometimes, can sense mistical forces, use super speed, its extremely durable overall, and use the wisdow of Solomon for tactics, either combat situations or others.

cab he fire any bolts, force blast, i once saw him do something during the imperiex war i think he blow up someone

He's at a disadantage if the Marvels are there. Each one that summons the power weakens him substantially, because he SHARES it with them. If none of them are using the power, he'd win after a decent fight, but as it's written in the thread, he probably gets whooped.


Also, Gladiator fought Wolverine for 7 days straight, didn't he?. Not even "low confidnece" helps this make sense. Wolverine couldn't even pick up a boulder, after realising this, his Confidence in winning should have shot through the roof. Same with Collosus, who is only decently strong, who almost toppled him in the pheonix sagas, he BARELY came out the victor. And apperently from what someone else said in the thread, Hulk beat the crap out of him. Also, he delivered a full force punch at the Star Ship Enterprise and didn't break it's shields.

Look, Glad is a lot of promise and talk, without much backing it up.
Yes, he still manages to scrape by most fights, but the fact it's even a contest at all makes it laughable.


Matter of fact, I'm going to say Shazam, even at 1/10 power or whatever, with all the Marvels there, just cause Glad couldn't even handle pussy opponents when he moves FTL and smashes planets. Apprently these powers don't work when he's actually fighting.

some say his confindent isn't preped up for lesser opponents so he ain't that confindent because he belives they shouldn't be able to touch him when they do he loses his game face because in his eyes a lesser opponent to him shpouldn't be able to touch him.

take into consideration that to someone a lesser being to them varies like hulk sees everyone beneath him but thor sees him as a peer

CM really doesn't get enough respect. He should be the number 2 in the DCU.

Thats not used anymore. After the Wizard was upgraded into a god (after his stay in New Genesis iirc) he got more powerful and was able to give more to the Marvels and finish with the power sharing.

Superman barely came out the victor against Thor. What Colossus did, was trying to win and didnt came close. You saw Glads getting hurt the sligthest? Or struggling. I didnt.

And people Think Superman will match his speed, and strength where both approach Infinity like I said.

The only reason weak chum sometime tosses Gladiator because his powers are mental (confident base)

So some time you will see him do amazing stuff, and other times well getting knock out by thor lol.

At his Prime Gladiator battle Thor amped (near Light speed ) , his blows can shatter worlds , Contain solar system destroying attack etc

and destroys palnets

Captian Marvel wins. He's earth's mightiest mortal. He's like in a way a version of Superman with out Kryptonite weakness.

If both are in bloodlust, my money is on Gladiator. Anything he puts his mind to he can accomplish physically so long as his will/confidence doesn't falter.

With the Guard watching he's not going to fall. He can't fail the Shi'Ar.

If it were Black Adam I might have a different answer.
