Uncanny X-Men #422 (Vol.1): Juggernaut
Alpha Flight are horribly portrayed as the government's lap dogs and shown as a-holes. Anyways not really a fight since most of the members get attacked from behind. This fight shows Sasquatch going toe to toe with Juggernaut. In the end the one who looked far worse was Juggernaut

Uncanny X-Men #432-434 (Vol.1): Juggernaut
Another badly written battle Alpha Flight is in. Sasquatch is really pounding in Jugz until Guardian tells him to stop, which gives Jugz the opening he needs. The fight continues and Jugz hits Vindicator, which sends Guardian into a frenzy punching out Jugz even making him bleed. Wait what? Mac isn't a melee character; he would have just blasted him with his energy blasts that can even kill Sasquatch. Next, Jugz shouldn't even be able to touch them due to their speed, flight and Mac's computer mind oh and his shield. Wait...didn't Sas destroy Jugz shirt? but later doesn't he have it back on? Why was Vindicator shooting machine gun fire? Once again AF is written to job once again. The fight literally lasted for a minute as noted by Northstar

Hulk Annual #8: Hulk
Ordered by the government, Sasquatch is sent to get Hulk who has been reported in Canada. Upon arriving Walter finds Bruce Banner with a lady. So he grabs Banner and begins to toss him in the air to try to bring out the Hulk to test his strength. He was being careless and when the lady told him to stop, at the time Walter was holding him over the cliff his shirt ripped and he fell. Luckly he transformed while he fell and Sasquatch felt horrible for it. Basically they fight and Sasquatch stalemates the Hulk. In the end when his guard his down, Hulk gives him a backhand for good measure and leaps away. Sasquatch can land better than the hulk can when leaping and has "second strongest legs on the face of the Earth. He went toe to toe with the Hulk for 30 minutes and Sasquatch didn't even go into his rage strength boost either

Exiles #44-45 (Vol.1): Sasquatch (Exiles)
A healing factor feat for Sasquatch, where she saves TJ by jumping in the way of Illyana's attack taking a blade to the back. She is bleeding pretty bad and about to die; so TJ goes inside her to kick start her transformation. While this happens the rest of the Exiles are attacking Hyperion and Mimic tried to and failed against him. He didn't even budge him, and then a weakened Sasquatch pops in and gives him a good shot rocking him. The fight with Hyperion ends 5-10 minutes later and Sasquatch's wounds are all healed.

I find that interesting that she is considered not as bright as the 616 Sasquatch since she has done some pretty impressive stuff herself. Even currently in the Exiles title she is leading the team from the background even though she lost her powers. Also she is bulletproof as well as regenerative. Just to note: Somon isn't killed, since he later appears several times , and Snowbird said she was leaving Earth was just covering up she was going to try to have a family with her husband on Earth.

Mr. Fantastic made to "restore most of the strength he used to possess". Sasquatch dominates him, even stopping Ben from even landing one hit. Headlok also mentions Sasquatch's power increase when he becomes angry "I feel Sasquatch's physical surge".

The Incredible Hulk #272 (Vol.1): Wendigo
Sasquatch is sent to find Wendigo, and he eventually does saving Bruce Banner. At the time he didn't know who it was, and once he did figure it out the distraction gave Wendigo the opportunity to attack. Then Sasquatch's goal was to hold him while Bruce ran, but Bruce eventuall transforms and they take Wendigo out together.

After Heather had to kill Snowbird to stop Pestilence, he was free to possess a new body. His choice....Snowbird's Sasquatch form. Boch who usually commands Box just was given new legs and a new body by Lionel Jeffries that's why he looks a lot different than his other apperances. Walter in Box form admits that Box is not half as strong as Sasquatch, and the form Walter was in in the past and this current form could press 85 tons. So that proves the handbooks thats state Walter to be just 70 tons is false.

Alpha Flight #55 (Vol.1): Great Beasts
Walter is having a identity crisis and the Great Beasts are going to use that to their advantage. Not in their full power, but still powerful enough. Few errors, there are 6 Great Beasts the two not shown are Ranaq and Kolomaq. Manikin's physhic death at the hands of Somon should have stuck, but in the next issue he was fine. Only a person like Talisman can bring them back from the dead as said when they first encountered the Great Beasts. Anyways none of the Great Beasts die, just sent back to their dimension. If they were at full strength as Shaman said all their actions would just be a delay at best. They had to defeat the Great Beasts in 20 minutes or they would never defeat them, regardless Great Beasts jobbed here.

Nope, Tanaraq isn't dead as I mentioned Tanaraq even took control the next time Snowbird took his form (After she ripped out his heart). You can't kill a Great Beast. Even near the end of vol.1 when AF was fighting the Wrecking Crew Sasquatch made the comment the more he transformed into Sasquatch the more Tanaraq was taking control (AF #119). He kinda uses a different Sasquatch form, but it was a form of Snowbird impersonating Tanaraq. When she took this form against Pestilence, he forced Tanaraq to take control over her body and with him and the rest of the Great Beasts attacked ALpha Flight. Sasquatch is merely an avatar for Tanaraq that he channels through, just like how Tundra in Alpha Flight #1 wasn't the real Tundra but an earthly avatar as mention in AF #24

It was mentioned in the fight with Mauvais, as he called Sasquatch a traitor going against the Great Beasts fighting for the Arctic Gods

edit: Somon has had his heart ripped out and head crushed yet he still lives and appeared during the Wendigo Mauvais battle when he was banished to the Realm of the Beasts

But didn't they banish the Great Beasts back to their realm? Are you gonna post Sasquatch's bio from the 2006 handbook? It gives a very well detailed history on Sasquatch.

Yep, but Tanaraq was in the Realm of the Beasts and Sasquatch created a rift opening the dimension becoming his avatar. He didn't know that at first, but Exiles Sasquatch goes more into the contract. The Great Beasts have escaped the Realm many times

Even the scans prior stated by Sasquatch he is weakened by just transforming yet Thing still states he is stronger. Thing admitted, "Sheesh! The gods and great beasts burst out from him and battle. He is forced to aid the gods as Sasquatch and drives the beasts away. He rejects the gods, too, and his money, which goes to Veronica. This might have been an illusion from Dreamqueen though

I hate to bring this up again but Thing does say "I'm wasted! I'd like to drop in my tracks" in that last scan. He's tired from trying to find Walters campsite. Sasquatch admitts he's weak and so does Thing.

Naaaa, I don't think he meant tired physically as the rocket did all the work. I'm almost postive he meant mentally tired as what lead up to that event clearly showed he was distress with Goliath's situation.

Is it just me or does it look like he's just destorying the 2 pilars next to him? IMO that doesn't equal punching through dimensional barriers. He's just destroying a machine which affects the reality. That's how I see it. Apologies if I'm wrong, but that's what I got from the scans.

Nope, the pillars were just there. They wern't even near the source of the trans-displacement machine and the fact that none where actually in the same location. Some where in Montreal, the arctic, Edmonton...etc. If it was just destroying the pillars none would have been brought to where Sasquatch was.

So.. What's there to indicate that he punched a hole in the reality. It just looks like he's smashing colums holding the thing. Like they state, the whole thing is caused by the ship. Well, destroying part of the ship might help, wouldn't it?

Nope, like I said they wern't even in the ship yet it was a trap to stop people from actually entering the ship. They as stated were not all in the same room at the same time, he got angry and performed this feat. It's definetly more than breaking some pillars.

It was, because afterwards they were teleported directly to Alpha Flight who was captured, basically due to Walter wanted that to happen. Prior none were even in the ship yet.

That feat is kinda vague imo. It's hard to tell exactly is going on there. Unless I am missing something.

Basically all I listed, he broke down the dimension and by doing so teleported everyone in the Plodex ship directly in front of Alpha Flight the ones they were trying to look all over Canada to find. I don't know if it's the pillars or his arm but his arm seems to be glowing even right up to his shoulder. Anyways far more happened to just knocking down the pillar, even Sasquatch was shocked that it happened the way it did. As mentioned the angry he gets the stronger he gets to Elder God status.

King I don't think you posted Sasquatches fight with Champion. I know he lost but still Champion is suppose to be one of the toughest f*ckers in the universe.

Your scan inscription says they're in the Plodex ship..

Besides, they are clearly all in the same room, some of them are just walking on the walls. The fact that they can hear each other tells us something.

Yeah, it's much easier to desribe as trans-displacement traps are not the most easiest to explain.

Three things we know:
1. They came from three seperate locations
2. No one entered the ship yet
3. We know something else went on since if Sasquatch merely broke the pillar and that was it, they all would have been sent to his location in Calgary. However, we know something more happened as the entire team was teleported to the arctic where the ship was, and teleported directly in the middle of the ship right in front of Alpha FLight the ones they were trying to find all across Canada.

They do mention something about portals, so could those be just ordinary portals which lead all the members into the trap dimension. I mean, Sasquatch smashes the pillar. Everything comes down. I mean like physically everything crashes. I don't see him punching a hole in the reality, I see him smashing 2 pillars which connect to the stages/paths/(the machine) they're standing on. Can you clearly proof it that he did indeed punch a hole in the reality? That the pillars had nothing to do with the breakdown?

This reminds me too much about the debate whether DeathVerine was enhanced or not :/

Isn't this what the thread is for? Respecting Sas? I can't respect him if I'm not sure whether the feat is truly what you put it out to be. Anyway, if you want, I will stop posting in this thread, but then the matter will stay unresolved.

Don't you agree that's it's not entirely sure that Sasquatch punches through the reality? What the hell would be the pillars there for then, the artist put them there for a reason?

Did you see the scans? their not there as stated. They were all in the Arctic, Calgary and elsewhere. Their not in the same location, just like how Rutherford wasn't back in Chicago

Actually yes, as the source of the machine is in the arctic where the Plodex ship is. Sasquatch was in Montreal, completly away from the source of the Plodex trap. If you read it you would have known they came from 3 seperate locations, yet you argued I can see them so that means they have to be in the same location.

Assumptions? that's what happened. Do you want me to provide scans of the Plodex ship in the Arctic. Do you want me to provide scans of after the trap broke that they were instantly teleported in front of Alpha Flight. It's not assumptions as that's what directly happened.

No they never mentioned portals, and if it was merely breaking the pillars which there was more than two but the entire team would have been sent to Sasquatch's location in Calgary not in the Arctic and not directly in front of the captured Alpha Flight. I posted all the scans, explained in and it clearly shows it's vastly more than just knocking down pillars. As even in different locations all over Canada, Sasquatch destroyed the ceilings and floors and all were teleported to the Arctic. Even Sasquatch's arms are glowing performing this feat.

Remember, Sasquatch is an Elder God older than the Earth and the personification of Death on Earth when it was first commencing to come alive. The angry Sasquatch gets the stronger he gets. From the scans we clearly see it's vastly more than just punching a pillar.

That's my point, even though they believed they were in Chicago they wern't. Just like how the trans-displacement trap as they stated they wern't really there. They never left the location, and yes they were the only ones in the Arctic closest to the Plodex ship, but still aways off as they noted later.

That's the point of the trap, as they could hear them but they wern't really there. They couldn't see them, it was a means to disorient. No I can't, but I'm not in a trans-displacement trap now am I?

Nope, because the Plodex has many hubs underground but there is only one mother hub as shown with the Master's base in the Avengers.

It;s different as the Plodex ship as the Master's Plodex base covered the entire Northern Hemisphere. There are many ways to enter into the base, but not actually be in the headquarters. Also no, as they mentioned they wern't in the same location

No, they were looking for the central hub, which is located in the middle of the Plodex ship that has teleportation capabilities allowing them to pop up anywhere. However, of course that was located in the Arctic far away from Sasquatch.

Nope, they were in Calgary as the Plodex systems cover all of Canada, and United States shown in Avengers during the Kang Wars.

No they don't, and we know from just that image showing was happening. Something unique, and no you would be wrong as they were not in the ship until after they destroyed the trap as shown. Then they were directly teleported to where Alpha Flight was being held.

Actually we don't know where that base was located. Only Centinnel and Nemesis as stated went to the North Pole.

Actually he was far from Tanaraq there, as noted the angry or pain he feels the stronger he gets as Tanaraq begins taking over his mind. He holds back as he noted, but there his anger punching the trans-displacement trap let it out. In Alpha Flight he transformed into Tanaraq in seconds after Snowbird attacked him and Snowbird had to transform into Tanaraq herself to stop him. It was even commented the more he transforms into his Sasquatch form the more Tanaraq is taking over his mind. That was stated in volume.1

As of yet we don't know if he will join the team or not, but he appears in issue #1 knocking out the Wrecking Crew and Oeming stated the Great Beasts will appear, and Sasquatch is Tanaraq's avatar after all. There's no mention he will be part of Civil War as yet, but Omega Flight was created due to the events of Civil War.

Of course as I have read the entires series from vol.1-3 and their various tie-ins with the Plodex and other members of Alpha Flight. I know what they are capable of. Then I explain what happened and then you say I'm making assumptions of what happened but that's what happened. He's an Elder God, Mauvais who Dr.Strange was unsure he could beat was terrified of the Great Beasts. However, your right I overeacted it's due to I was getting agitated from two debates in the vs. forum and your getting part of it.

End of the series resulting in two teams of Alpha FLight created, one the original team was in space rebuilding the Plodex homeworld and then there were temporal copies of the original team from the past brought to the present. They were summoned by Shaman to correct the temporal issues and they were not allowed to be sent back into their own timeline as they were brought here for a reason.

So we don't know if it was the temporal copies or the original team that fought and died against the Collective in New Avengers #16

In the beginning it was quite hard for me to understand how the trap works (And it still kinda is) and you HAVE to admit that it SHOULD be a lot clearlier if he was punching through the fabric of reality. We had to go through all this just to get to some kind of conclusion.

Well none are going to be Plodex traps, but same principle. Alpha Flight #16 (Vol.2) in the new Tower of Babel, everyone is confused and Puck refers to this place like Heaven driven by faith. Yes it was an illusion, but as they noted they never were teleported anywhere they were in the same location, but not really in Chicago. Just like how they wern't together during the displacement trap as they could hear them, but not see them and even stated they wern't in the same place. We don't know, wasn't stated.

They wern't as stated, they were all in different locations. So Sasquatch brining them together is a major feat and more importantly brining them to Alpha Flight that was trapped.

No the central Hub as shown is in the center of the Plodex ship, and no they stated they wern't in the same place.

No as the central Hub for the ship was located in the Arctic, they started off in Calgary. If he merely destroyed the trap they all would have fell to his location in Calgary, but they didn't and ended up in the arctic even in front of the captured Alpha Flight.

Number two as Sasquatch has the history dealing with interdimensional traps which were thought to be impossible by an Elder of the Universe. Just two pillars hold the entire dimensions the team were in is more plausible? we know there was more than just those two. As noted Sasquatch can become an Elder God, Odin a skyfather shook the entire multi-verse at one time.

However, in the past an Elder of the Universe believed halting a Boxer, an interdimensional trap from the Vegan timeline was impossible yet an angry Sasquatch performed the feat. Sasquatch has the backing of an Elder God channeling through him.

Actually it was the Gods of the Arctic who ruined his day, after his powers wern't divided he was killing them till the Gods arrived. Sasquatch knows what he can do and fears it, as it resulted in his death the first time he lost control. Sasquatch as noted holds back his strength due to fear of letting Tanaraq take control. Well neither was Ranaq or Kolomaq, but we know they are still around.

Nope, even when Snowbird took Sasquatch's form Tanaraq took control of her on multiple occasions even though she wasn't his avatar. In Alpha Flight #59 (Vol.1), Tanaraq did this and commanded her body. Then in the Alpha Flight annual they made a comment she runs the risk of Tanaraq taking control just by assuming his form

Watler went by Wanda for awhile, but as I posted on the first page Snowbird returned him back into a man. After the Wanda thing was cleared up in Alpha Flight #68 (vol.1), it was commented in Alpha Flight #119 (vol.1) Walter was starting to lose control every time he takes Sasquatch's form. Tanaraq had control even over Snowbird's body, which Walter uses.

The way I understand it is that Walter is not influenced by Tanaraq anymore. That's the way the guys at my LCS explained it to me as Walter is using a 3rd Sasquatch form.

What? I just proved above Tanaraq still influences him, and even Oeming stated in interviews Sasquatch is still influenced by him and the Great Beasts will be making an apperance in Omega Flight. Walter is using Snowbird's body, and merely transforming into his form as stated in vol.1 and vol.3 Tanaraq is slowly taking control even with Snowbird. Who ever said Tanaraq is not influencing him is wrong, as when he was Wanda the Great Beasts even approaced Wanda about joining them.

I have the entire comic and physically he didn't do anything. The rocket did all the traveling out of anything he was mentally tired. Have you seen Sasquatch feats? other than just looking at the Thing mention? Sasquatch is vastly stronger than Thing.

Omega Flight #1 of 5: Wrecking Crew
An emotional distraught Walter still reeling from Alpha Flight dying has become a shell of himself. He's drinking and doubting himself as shown in the first page, and when he arrives to take the Wrecking Crew he basically was landing the heavier blows (making them bleed far more) and shrugging of theirs. He was doing exceptionally well until he had a mental breakdown and had a flashback of AF dying promting him to stop and start crying. The Crew took this opportunity to throw a tanker on him and jumping him when he was on the ground then the issue ends. Man the crew were evil in this issue, killing dozens of people and raping several woman. Looks like they have been brought back to their non-jobbing forms as Thor busters. My money is on Talisman coming to his aid or Tanaraq appears, as interview from Kolins hinted at the crew is going to be killed.

Machine Man #18: Machine Man
Ordered by Department H to investigate Machine Man as it was him who sent Hulk to Canada after Machine Man defeated him. So Alpha Flight is instructed to bring Machine Man in as they think he has ties to the American Government, but it was all just a trick. This was classic Sasquatch who didn't know he gained his powers from Tanaraq, and at this time whenever he changed he actually became weakened temporally. So he wasn't 100% and Machine Man was still shocked by his strength, "Sasquatch's sensational strength is almost beyond comprehension"

Thunderball's chain so pure magic, and Walter being tortured and beaten earlier wouldn't have the strength to bust it regardless.

However, Sasquatch could have turned into Walter and back into Sasquatch in a second to escape it. It's better for the story he remains as something big is going to happen to him.

IE. The human form of Beta Ray Bill is having visions and sees a city sized Sasquatch and on the right "creat Beasts", which hints at Great Beasts

And yea turning back to Walter would have worked. Colossus did it to Juggernaut one time to get out of his grip.

I'm kinda not liking the series so far mainly because Sasquatch is getting treated like a wimp. But from the looks it's going to get good.

Yeah it was a low showing indeed, but the reason he got in that position was he had a nervous breakdown and the Crew threw the tanker on him blowing up. A non-jobbing Crew is no joke, they even nearly killed Hercules, and shrugged off blows from Thor and literally laughed at him. Still how they became this well..evil is odd, but a nice change from dumb bricks. Also Sasqauatch healing factor is quite powerful as Vision was destroying his organs through his phase grab into his body and Walter was healing in seconds. Vision was shocked he was surviving.

Like I said it does more for the story to keep him trapped.

I don't mind to much he is getting treated this way, as from the looks of it he is going to go Tanaraq and Scott Kolins hinted at the Crew is going to be killed. So we may see Tanaraq completly unleashed. The "true villian" of the series is going to be revealed in OF #4, it could even be Loki, which would be cool.

I'm loving this series, especially the many easter eggs.

What Ben was really saying was he truly was tired "literally" physically and mentally. He'd been up 3 days straight and was without sleep in addition to the rumbles during those 3 days. When he met sassy he was on the 4th day of no sleep and now was to be fighting again.

IMO Ben being tired "weakened" is more a problem than sassy recouping from his transformation. Because there really isn't a time line for sassy as far as how long after he changed did he meet up with Ben... I don't think it was immediately afterwards, I could be wrong.

*sigh* Considering what the powerlevel of classic Sasquatch showed, he would have been SERIOUSLY weakened. Also yes he did meet up with Thing immediately afterwards.

A. Since when is 1 post spamming.

B. That was said... And that fight was on I believe the 4th or 5th day straight of no sleep for Ben so his strength may have been depleted considerably indeed from his norm.

C. It was right after Dr.Lang changed into Sassy that they met is because why....? Oh yeah cause you said so. Because the comic itself never stated that.

D. And I guess I forgot how much you liked to take one comic instance or a comment by a character and turn it into the gospel...all the while poo poohing another comics instances or comments because it doesn't fit your cause.

So what your saying is that Ben's rocket came down Lang was 100ft away from it and changed right away...but decided to follow Ben around the forest half the day... But even after hours of following Ben he was still drained from his transformation?

I'll have to check my comics but if my memory is correct Tanaraq hadn't given the Crew any additional powers yet when they almost killed Sassy. I could be wrong.

Bull, look at all the other things Sasquatch has done and compare them to Thing. Sasquatch is on a far higher level. We know for a fact he IS indeed stronger, not from just one direct quote.

The Wrecking Crew wasn't amped up until after they beat up Sasquatch. Issue #3 is where they get their power-up.

I think it's safe to say that Thing and Sasquatch both were tired during the battle though.

Nope, even Mike on jinxboard alluded to that fact Tanaraq was feeding them power before they entered the Realm of the Beasts.

Well that's kinda a cheap way out. I mean why didn't he alteast explain that in the comic somewhere instead of doing something odd like that. It does not make sense really.

No idea, he mentioned in in a Q/A on his board. It was directly after OF #1 came out as people were questioning why would Walter lose to them. Even though a non-jobbing Crew are beasts.

Meh! Oeming merely brought back them to their old levels, such as Wrecker has one-shoted the Hulk in the past before.
