unless Reed can think of a way really quick to prevent SS exploiting Superman's weaknesses...then SS wins. If SS can't exploit Superman's weaknesses....then Supes' can do this by himself.

No PIS...Supes can probably dodge most of Surfer's blasts...and transmuting DNA...well...that would be a problem...that's where Reed has to come in for the protection.

If Reed could get it down to just a slugfest or so....Supes would rock Surfer every day of the week.

The Surfer can take Superman without exploiting his weaknesses. It wouldn't be a stomp of a fight, but Norrin need not use Red Sun Radiation nor Kryptonite to win.

Just for the record.

Surfer couldn't take away Superman's powers...he can exploit his weaknesses...and depower Superman. Kind of like Magneto fighting Kurse, i would say...SS can just drain Superman. Only way for Supes to really win is if it was merely a slugfest.

Nah...Surfer couldn't alter Superman's form...as far as I know.

Surfer, close but I think Surfer's insane speed and power combination should do it.

1. take out Superman - grab, transmute Surfer's body to Kryptonite, move off to nearest black hole, chuck in a near dead Superman

2. cosmic blast the detritus (the FF) from a planet away, with enough PC to smash a planet.

3. dive into the black hole and grab Superman.

4. amp up (if necessary) with Power Cosmic and pummel Superman.

yeah...but isn't Supes' becoming more immune to Kryptonite now. I know that Superman flew through a red sun...and was still powerful enough to take out SBP.

SS would have to work harder than that.

is it possible that surfer could changes his own DNA and become a kryptonian. how far does the power cosmic go

The Silver Surfer wields the "Power Cosmic," absorbing and manipulating the universe's cosmic energy, and is almost totally indestructible. He can navigate through space, hyperspace, and dimensional barriers, and he can fly at near-limitless speeds on his board, entering hyperspace when he exceeds light speed. He has even proven capable of time travel on occasion. The Surfer, who sustains himself by converting matter into energy, does not require food, drink, air, or sleep. Once he was free of Earth, the Surfer remotely converted the board to energy, recalled it to him, and reformed it in space

yep, it would be hard work but, I'm just using the kryptonite self-transmutation as an example of what he could do.

Surfer is an energy and matter manipulator on a global scale (at the very least), so there's other things he might to.

if, and I'm not really sure about this, he can transmute Superman, then game over there and then.


he can definitely blast superman with enough energies to knock him out - busting planets is something Surfer does effortlessly (literally on a whim) and his raw strength is just unkown (but his durability must be well up there - deep space, hyperspace, blackholes, event horizons...).

he can turn any random person into another Silver Surfer, with the same level of powers as he has. that to me suggests a staggering level of matter and dna manipulation ability.

he can change himself into other forms, he has changed into human form before... so giving himself a kryptonite sheen/coating is not very difficult to imagine.

Except if Superman restrain SS and then Fantastic 4 meanwhile figure out something.

So the tema win.

Superman can easily hold surfer off and imo defeat him with out him using red sun radiation. He can not use kryptonite as this is from another universe entirley so lets let that go. Even with red sun radiation Superman can dance around his blasts all day and layeth the smackdown.

He could proabably turn the Fantastic Four into children of maybe even heal them to normal. Superman has no chance against a Unyelding Surfer.
