Tien has literally no feats... by power caling he would take it...

But I have to give this to Madara for having substantially more feats.

Naruto operates on another level from Dragon Ball.

If you take away tenshinhan knowlege of him, this will be a quick fight for madara. Tenin looks an exotic eye that leads to his destruction.

Multiple tri-beams would end it. Also he's much faster.

Honestly. If Ki and chakra are considered different in this scenario, Tien wins.

If they are considered the same. Madara wins. Because then Madara can abosrb Tien's energy attacks.

Having said that though. Tien's Martial arts or Taijutsu would be considered greater than Might Gai's 8 gates by the obscene power scaling we see in Dragon Ball Z. In which case. Tien would win.

Feats are irrelevant here. Power scaling says Tien blitzes Madara before his mind is even able to process that there is a fight going on.

Not sure tien (thank you!) win in a biltz, but having the nine tail as a power source means annialation for tien. Can he stop the regenerative ability or the virus that nine tail has like he did against sakura? I don't think so.

Also, physics helps both parties. I don't think dbs characters reach sound speed, if that's what comes up in this debate and here's why. Mass effect when you pretend (trunks ruins THEORIES) like you don't know where their speed are at. Now we're playing with portable (gravity machine!) power. The verdict of flight speed (Mach 5 at best!) out weighing movement speed is being realistic in their world. An considerable amount of TRAINING in the gravity room reveal that (air current) are lacking sound speed or greater. Experimental with only 400x Gravity (vegeta!) means they could have flaws in flexibility of normal gravity because Earths Gravity is the measurement of sound! If an individual go beyond sound, odds are they will break the gravity machine because the shockwave of them moving will be to great. It's why vegeta uses machines with lasers, the particles are held down by the gravity. Try that with a handgun, vegeta may have problems with the speed and DAMAGE the room. Him moving at sound speed in the room is impossible because of his mass, he'll definitely cause a large shockwave. So vegeta lowered the gravity so the laser beams can go faster! So if vegeta is sound speed he would switch from the gravity room over to the hyperbolic time chamber. Vegeta would have tested his speed out at any transformation so he could go further, so he's not sound speed.

There is really no evidence that anyone in Super is actually all that physically strong, Naruto has a better striking feat than anyone in Super.
That said Tien has no counter to Genjutsu. He gets stunned and then cut in half.

Edit: from the explanation of how Genjutsu works and the effects of the 8 gates there is a solid argument that you should be immune to Genjutsu.

Nadara doesn't have the completely hax genjutsu of Tsukiyomi. there are far more basic Genjutsu that showed the same effect that he would need, Tsukiyomi really only seems to be powerful because of the time dilation ability but basic anbu Genjutsu put people to sleep long enough to bring them back to the leaf village.

If tien knew just how dangerous madara is he would frag the area madara is on. So it's 50/50 if tien has knowledge, otherwise madara is going to hypnotize him!

I figure all it'll take is something like what beerus did, just less powerful but it'll do major damage to regular madara.

He can fire off the Tri-Beam instantly and rapid fire. And it's aoe is huge as Cell himself couldn't escape.

It will also kill him if he keeps using it, and Cell was not exactly trying until he got himself trapped. Any estimates on the force it was putting out because Madara has some pretty good durability with his Hashirama cells and substitution jutsu.

But by your standards we are allowed to assume and speculate so why the **** not. My speculation is based on the fact that the Genin have basic training on Genjutsu and he is two levels above that and is teaching... Is like saying an algebra professor has probably some knowledge of geometry...

How is a non offensive technique show better offensive strength? Meditation doesn't break Genjutsu, usually it takes someone else breaking it for them or at the very least somehow having foreknowledge of the attack.

You guys do know Madara was able to survived after he was sliced in half right?

[Yes and I think it might be obvious that someone who had meditated and trained their focus to the point of LITERALLY GROWING ANOTHER EYE might be somewhat resistant to mental attacks.

If its a matter of not getting caught in Genjutsu then we need to look at Gai more closely.

Why was Gai never put under Genjutsu by Madara?

Option 1: As he did with Itachi, Gai may have kept his vision on his feet as to avoid visual genjutsu. His mastery of martial arts could let him predict Madara's movements. Tien is one of the most advanced martial artists on the planet who, like goku can feel the presence of enemies through the displacement of air, sound and other such methods. So fighting without looking is a definite possibility.

Option 2: Gai was so fast and powerful that Madara had no opportunity to attempt to place him under Genjutsu. If this is the case then Tien rolf stomps.

Option 3: The specifications of the how 8 Gates works make the user immune to Genjutsu. If this is the case, Madara could pull this off.

Option 4: Genjutsu is unable to work on an opponent of major power. This is never stated and holds little sway but it would explain why almost every HAX genjutsu user can't just zap their powerful opponent to sleep. If this is true then Tien ROLF stomps.


This will be last time I post on this conversation but my verdict is Tien has the edge. Madara wins if we lowball Tien and wank to Madara hax.

The force of detailed objects being lifted early in naruto does give them an edge against dbs cast. How can you wonder about the idea when you see the Earth sound four members lift giant choji up with one arm! This puts madara in qualifying position of being a threat physically and not just because he have a hax power. He's above tien' prosperous realty of established showing of decorated ki blasts that are inadequate in heat and force (I don't think tien is as strong as base goku.). Just throwing terrifying perfectly airborne assaults (he has to see perfect!) of ki blasts can give madara the edge by using shadow clones or taking shelter in a forest or city. Out in the open, if tien have knowledge and madara doesn't use genjutsu, madara chances of winning becomes more difficult.
