The only people I can see wrecking Toppo out of nowhere are Gohan (sheer potential) and Vegeta (possible trick up his sleeve). I see Frieza opting to avoid Toppo, if anything.

Gohan's about as likely to beat Toppo as Krillin is. All that talk of potential is just that, he hasn't shown anything..

Why is Gohan last?

He hasn't proven he's any higher than Super Saiyan God, imo.

Based on what we've seen in the anime/manga as of right now:
SSB Goku(/w/ Kaioken) > Hit(fully evolved) > SSB Goku = Golden Freeza(current) = SSB Vegeta > Toppo ~/> SSG Goku > Dyspo > Gohan(calm)

*It's hard for me to place Dyspo. His FTL speed can give him a huge advantage initially, but it's also relatively easy for the upper-echelon fighters to counter, because his speed(while extremely haxx) is also very linear/readable.

*Gohan's level is also subject to change. If he gets angry, he can skyrocket to SSB-level.

Agreed on Dypso.

Feel it's still pis though, just like Deathstroke countering Flash. There's absolutely no doubt Dypso is much faster, or there would be no reason to have a "faster then light" light emphasis.

Dyspo has superior raw travel speed, but most of the noteworthy fighters at the ToP are able to counter said speed because he is a very linear character(ie. it is easy for them to predict where he is going next)... Same reason Goku was able to was able to counter Hit's time-skip. Same reason Freeza was able to counter Jimeze's IT. Etc.

That said, they still need the appropriate perception/reaction speed to counter Dyspo in the first place, along with the physical durability for their bodies to not be atomized when a FTL mass strikes them(or vice versa.)

Goku and Hit was indisputably pis.

From Hit's perspective, it's like a still photo predicting where you're going to hit in the next frame. You should be able to course correct easy, because you're reacting to a still image.

Hit would have needed to close his eyes every time he threw a punch to land on frozen Goku's blocking arm.

In the English dub, King Kai states that Goku was literally forcing himself into the future when he fought Hit(via his use of SSB+KK.) That is not only how he countered the time-skip, but also why his powers were completely burned out a few episodes later.

...Though that may have *just* been stated in the English dub. Later on I'll have to look and see if the Japanese translation/subs corroborates this.

Jiren is more powerful than Toppo. He himself have admitted this.

Toppo is not the same now as he was then.

He still had that power within him. He knew of his capabilities before mentioning his level of power against Jiren.

Dont get the hate...it this might sound fanboyish still Hit was the only fighter who had anykind of effect on Jiren even if it was temporary.

relative to other dragon ball character's he's pretty chill, though.

By Dragon Ball standards he's pretty cool/chill and unique as a fighter. Was going more at that, than his power level/potential. With the way power-ups or zenkais happen out of the ass now, may as well say everyone in the show of note is a mary sue/gary stu at this point...

Vegeta and especially Goku is retarded, he should have just died from runing out of stamina by now, he had 10 bazillion fights in TOP and not only he is not exhausted but he is like 20 times stronger then when the tournament started....

Hit has some problems, but is a way better character than Jiren.
