Defo increased my enthusiasm for this. Although wish that end teaser wasn't in it.

Red Hulk vs DCU Superman!!

Anyway this film looks good.

KingD19
We finally get to see Isaiah Bradley go wild.

Khazra Reborn
I was never really into Falcon as Cap in the comics, however I am getting definite Captain America: TWS vibes from this trailer, which I can 100% get behind.

TheVaultDweller
Yeah, the trailer definitely gives off similar vibes to CA:TWS (which is still my favourite MCU movie to date), so I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. Most of the MCU movies and shows in recent years have been disappointing IMO, but the trailers for Deadpool and Wolverine and now this have looked really solid, so here's hoping they can turn things around.

KingD19
I think The Marvels was the final nail in the coffin that made them look at the quality of thr films they'd been putting out. That's why we're only getting Wolvie & Deadpool this year and BNW isn't dropping till February. We don't need a bazillion trash Marvel movies at once, just one or 2 amazing ones at a time.

StiltmanFTW
Let's hope so, Kina.

Trailer looks good indeed.

Robtard
I get strong 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' vibes and that's f*cking great, as that's one of the top marvel movies, in the top 5 in my book.

Isaiah Bradley going full beast mode was kinda odd, as he still had super strength in the TV show, but he seemed clearly WELL past his prime. Unless I'm misremembering the scenes?

We didn't see him do much, but he did casually carry a small tree in a potted plant that can weigh upwards of 90lbs with soil and the plant, possibly more. And he accidentally got a tin can stuck in the wall with a toss.

He might be old, but he's still a super-soldier. He should have no problem decimating a normal person. Also as he seems to be under mind control, he won't have the normal limitations his brain would put on him.

Robtard
Yeah, I recall the strength feats, but he seemed to be well aged when it came to mobility. I could be misremembering though. Fair enough then.

Can't wait. I still think a MCU TV show based on a young Isaiah Bradley's story/exploits would have been better than most of what we got TV wise.

I think that's more because his actor Carl Lumbly is 73 this year. With stunt doubles and CGI they can make him appear like a 70yr old super soldier and not a 70yr old man.

I agree though. I still wanna see Isaiah rip off Bucky's original titanium ark. I think a bulked up Yahya Mahteen(Black Manta) could make a good Young Bradley.

Robtard
Aye, not a great actor but decent enough for the role, he has the height too. Would be a great fight scene.

Kazenji
One place that i follow noticed, The way it has been shot is similar to film Enemy of the State

they also finally did something with the dead Celestial from the Eternals movie which you see at 1:31 mark.

But yeah defo happy to have a more serious Hulk threat back in this.

She-Hulk was decent, imo. Better than a few other MCU shows.

Dude-Bro Skaar at the end looked retarded though.

Oh I facepalmed a few times in last episode for sure.

John Murdoch
Looking forward to this now, excellent trailer. As much as the MCU has been shooting itself in the foot over the past 2-3 years, here's hoping they get phase 5 back to quality stuff with Deadpool and Wolverine and BNW. Could be a massive one-two punch combo like Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy was back in 2014.

Yeah, One of the things they ****ed up on with the She-Hulk show

needed to be a barbarian Hulk, Not whatever that was.

Go phuck yourself then, Can't deal with people liking something that you dislike.

Robtard
I heard they did a study that found the more a man hated She-Hulk, the smaller his penis was. Just what I heard. :/

Khazra Reborn

Darth Thor
I started this by saying I didnt mind it, but later clarified the last episode had all sorts of facepalm moments.

So hardly a massive endorsement but it was defo watchable for me.

Robtard
What DT said, has issues, but it's watchable.

ares834
You guys all have awful taste. Loki and Wandavision were good, but the rest of the MCU shows range from being bad to downright unwatchable. Falcon and the Winter Soldier is closer to the "unwatchable" side of the spectrum, which is why I have absolutely no faith in this film despite having a surprisingly good trailer.

Cap's shield varies in how well it absorbs energy depending on the fight, Sam better pray it's tiptop in that Red Hulk scene...

I wonder if its more durable after Old Steve Rogers had it repaired at some point.

Now that adamantium is a thing in the MCU its possible.

Robtard
Wasn't talking about durability, more so the shields inconsistent ability to mitigate attacks.

eg Thor's "bring the hammer down" was completely absorbed by the shield, while the Winter Soldier's grenade launcher sent Steve flying off the freeway overpass. I think we will both agree that Mjolnir is considerably more powerful than a grenade.

Darth Thor
Hmm but if Thor pushed against the Shield, surely Steve would move. Same with Iron Mans blasts (but that is energy I guess).

So if Hulk punches it nothing should happen, but he could still push or pull the Shield.

Agree though, that doesnt quite make sense about Mjolnir vs a rocket blasting on impact.

Robtard
The shields properties vary depending on the scene/need from what I see.

StiltmanFTW
There was that time in comics when an average housewife picked up Cap's shield and still died from the impact, after successfully blocking Thunderball's attack once.

Unlike Steve, Sam is not superhuman. So, I don't see him enjoying fighting Ross too much.

Robtard
Just how average was this average house wife?

ShadowFyre
Like 2 to three sandwiches per hour average

Robtard
Hmm, I can see why she died then

wakkawakkawakka
On an unrelated note I guess this means a "Hulk in the desert" movie is never happening again right?

rudester
Anthony Mackie, the falcon comes off as arrogant with a mean personality. He is just simply not a welcoming person and for him to take the role of Captain America, would be wrong. He is not a leading man, he is not even a side kick; he is a background character that should only say a few words.

Liv Tyler's returning for the role after 17 years, probably a minor role. If she's hulking out, that's been kept secret.

I think TWS is too high a bar to expect for this. But will see. I'm still looking forward to it despite the mixed reviews.

Robtard
Fair enough and it doesn't have to match TWS for me to be entertained in film about superheroes. Just don't be trash.

Darth Thor
Was fine.

Always expected this would be the worst of the big superhero movies out this year. And it wasnt too bad.

Impediment
The MCU has truly peaked.

Avengers: Doomsday needs to reinvent the superhero movie genre.

Robtard
The was heavy, and I mean HEAVY MCU mid-tier, maybe even lower mid-tier.

Had some decent action, Sam as Cap is a complete beast which was cool to see. But Mackie lacks a certain charm that Evan's brought to the role.

Didn't care for the guy who plays the new Falcon or the new midget Black Widow (not Black Widow). They could have casted better for both. The BW actress was actually good in a Netflix series about orthodox Jew, this role isn't for her.

playa1258
The MCU really needs to knock it off with 80 lb girls being able to beat down several 200 lb+ trained men.

Because that's more unbelievable than super space aliens, magic monsters and god-like beings?

Honestly, your tiny penis is showing again :/

playa1258
It was this time. That girl was tiny man.

I would still give her my 2 inch punisher though.

Infinaut616
My thoughts about this movie mirror what most of the others have said. This wasn't bad and it wasn't good. It was just mediocre.

jaden_2.0
Well it wasn't the disjointed mess a lot of reviews I've seen are making it out to be.

Casting is the biggest issue. Most of the characters are totally forgettable although I did, and usually do, like Giancarlo Esposito.

Sad state of affairs when a bang average Marvel movie is still one of their better efforts in 6 years.

And about Betty showing up at the end: Did Marvel really think that anyone would care? She's been completely absent for the last 17 years, and the fandom moved right along without even looking back. So anticlimactic.

Esposito is a good actor, his Gus Fring is one of the best film villains of all time. But I found him miscast and looking too geriatric for the super duper badass mercenary role.

Nah that was needed due to Ross being re-casted. That connection to anyone who has seen the original Hulk that it's the same character. If anything that should have been brought in earlier in the film IMO.

Plus it was important to Ross's character arc for this film.

Infinaut616
Yeah I get why they put her in this, but as reveals go I was very underwhelmed.

Yeah fair enough. And we heard her on voicemail. My point being she was needed with the cast change. Ross isn't a character that everyone will recognise with a new face attached.

Robtard
I didn't have a problem with her showing up at the end, didn't really care, but no real problem with it.

The poor casting for several support characters was the real problem.

I wouldn't worry too much.

"Captain Falcon" didn't work in the comics, not much of a surprise it didn't work on the big screen.

Sooner or later, they'll stop doing this shit.

Kazenji
Seen from Rob Liefeld him suggesting Kevin Fiege should step down from the MCU after this latest film suffers a Huge Box Office Drop

he's just salty because he wasn't getting respect at the Deadpool & Wolverine after party.
