Each of the these three combatants start out thirty miles away in a 120 mile area. No transportation tech is available. They each have to hunt and kill their opposition. Wilderness type mountain terrain.

I believe the argument is that the uber-gun was firing ship-destroying blasts, which the lightsaber surely can't block. Thing is, it doesn't matter since the uber-gun can be TK-ripped out of his hand, or the STers can be Force-choked, or some other telekinetic defense.
