Krillin and Roshi could probably win. Solar Flare is pretty much the game changer. And Bergamo's energy absorbtion ability would pretty much be null against what Roshi has up his sleeves.

Hypnotizing them since they aren't the brightest bunch they wouldn't pull a Ganos. Mafuba.
Sure they could try to blitz, but Gohan kept up with them. And EVEN if Krillin isn't anywhere close to ssj Goku, he's able to keep up with Gohan, at a level that could keep up with the Trio De Dangers. Who were the strongest in that universe. So they aren't going to blitz Krillin

It wasn't just tricks. Krillin kept from being blitzed by SSJ+ level characters.

If he wanted to hold back, he never would have gone SSJ. He went SSJ. Are you implying his SSJ was weaker then base?

Gohan wanted to make sure Krillin was up to the challenge of the fight, after thinking any of the Trio could beat him. Gohans opinion changed after that fight and weak Gohan only needed ssj against Lavenda because of being blind and using his energy to find out where his opponent was, not because they were that powerful. Trio is really weak. Buu played with them, nontraining Gohan was stronger than them. One just had the ability to get stronger by other people's energy. Which wouldn't be much use against Roshi.

Universe 9 stomps hard. Only maybe Roshi gimmicks with capturing people in bottles might work in 1 vs 1 fight. Not sure about the rest of U9 warriors, but the main 3 wolf brothers are a tier above Krillin.
Lol...making sure he was up to the challenge? That doesn't even make sense because if that was the case, he would've started off strong instead of holding back.
Lol...the trio being weak is hilarious. One of the weakest matched Buu who is more powerful than Krillin, easily. Krillin is a weakling and was the first to get eliminated. That is sad when you have people on the tram like Tien and Roshi. Fact is, base Goku, Gohan and every One else is doing far better than him.
Gohan fought him to test him, because he hadn't know Krillin had been training and in a mental match he even saw Krillin losing. He fought him to test his skills, to see if he could really compete. And he showed he could.
Krillin got cheap shot by Frost.. while letting his guard down. How many times has Goku been saved this tournament by people weaker than him because he let his guard down. Goku nearly died because he let his guard down by the super weak, unable to even blast ki Sorbet. So his knock out isn't a testament to his strength.
Basil didn't even really register against Buu. Buu was playing around. Saying Basil was anywhere near Buu in power is no different than saying Krillin can keep up with SSB Goku.

Krillin got cheap shot by Frost.. while letting his guard down. How many times has Goku been saved this tournament by people weaker than him because he let his guard down. Goku nearly died because he let his guard down by the super weak, unable to even blast ki Sorbet. So his knock out isn't a testament to his strength.
