Theory on Theories

Hmm....

I've been thinking about this for several years now and it's been bothering me horribly.

Everything exists as a Theory.

Think on it... Hard...

Is there truly anything that is "definete"?

Science is a Theory, Religon is a Theory...

Hell, Life and Death in itself is all a Theory.

I know it seems like I'm sounding a bit on the obvious side, but doesn't us not knowing the answers kind of suck?

Doesn't living by a bunch of assumptions and undefined answers suck?

Most of life is unprovable due to the fact that there is no such thing as 100% certainty, as there is nothing that is definite....

If you need to ponder hard on this I would hate to see what happens when someone asks you to make a choice...

Yep. Except that statement can probably be looked at like black and white.

"Everything is true." = White, all colors.
"Nothing is true." = Black, lack of colors, not the opposite of "all colors".

As long as you are talking about light . If you are talking about pigment, black is all colors and white is none.

Wow, You just quoted something called Idealism, which originated from Scriptures by Byron.

Basically it is the belief that everything we ever know / see / feel are just ideas.

Meaning (as an example) You only see what you take in, not the actual object. You project what you know onto that object and you never see the actual object.

Eg: Table: solid, brown = ideas.

Eg: As thought you where a projectionist in a cinema, You see they image upon the screen, but not the screen itself.

(Correct me on technicalities such as "if you shut off the image the screen appears", you only prove you're and arrogant idiot.)

Alos, Idealism includesreepating a lie so often you belive it. Eg: Hitler and the Master Race.

Byron was also known to be a flamming gay sodomite.

Infact he was cought having sex with a dog during his honeymoon with his second wife.

It is Ironic that the Nazi movement takes upon writings from Byron.

read some of David Hume's philosophy, you'd find it very interesting

although Kant and others disagreed with his skepticism, his ideas are very thought-provoking

great story...she probably could have made some good literature writing about THAT!

Yeah I think so.

Actually, there was Porn, but it was nude paintings of Dutchesses and Venus Kissing her Son Cupid and stuff.

Very debated and frowned apon by the church.

But Then Again, I can't stand the Romantic Way of thought (For you Bird Brains "Romantic" here does not mean "Romeo", it means "I will rebel against your rules and do whatever my urges tell me to do" Also "Hopeless Romantic" Does nto necessairly eman "hopeless lover", the origin is all off.)
