the only people that win are the people who control them both and pull there strings. the british royle family bloodline was left in place when it appeared that they actuallly lost the war of independance.
this is very evident when over 30 of US presidents are related to british kings.

if the USA is the most powerful nation in the world, then the outcome is pretty evident.

Fishy already brought up the point, it's very hard to compare two country's (empire's or whatever) from different times. Certainly when technology has changed so drastically.

I prefer US a lot more to UK in some ways. But i think both are, look at usa in general, is it really that powerful? Dpends how you take it, like me, i consider there to be my home at heart.
