Democratic Congresswoman And Entourage Shot At Public Event
This is all the info available so far. Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot point blank in the head at a public event at a grocery store. Twelve other people were also shot.

according to a video interview with an eye-witness, the shooters are still at large too. apparently this guy saw her moving as they put Giffords on a stretcher
EDIT2: this is in contrast to NPR, who has reported she is dead (though later says he condition was unknown) and reports the suspect was tackled and taken into custody
Of course we don't know if that had anything to do with it, but it's is undeniable that those right-wing nutjobs like Palin, Beck and Limbaugh incite violence with their hate speech.
She's been threatened and her office has been vandalized before and they're looking at the healthcare and immigration reform positions as catalysts. The really sad thing about this is that assassinations work. Hence why presidents haven't taken and real risks since Kennedy.

Update: Six others are being reported as dead by NPR and local radio stations.

Well, typically unless the bullet grazes one of the harder bones such as the brow, it's a fatal injury. And yeah, it's been confirmed by pretty much everyone. 12 people shot, 3 dead on the scene, 3 more dead at the hospital, Giffords also dead.

now conflicting reports: apparently MSNBC is reporting Giffords is in surgery EDIT: PBS also reporting this
EDIT: though most reports still say she is dead, it was apparently a hospital spokesman who said she was in surgery, and I'm basically just posting people's twitter feeds, so I'll wait for some more links...
a map with cross-hairs and her name on it does seem a little "inciting" to me...

thats why I posted it. I found it directly below the map, after seeing that piece of work for the first time, and wondered what ever happened to saying this kind of stuff in code?
like, there is no level of sophistication to her message, it seems to be, pretty much, shoot these people
Well you know, you have a Jewish Democratic Congresswoman taking supposedly controversial positions in a state where the Governor is conducting her own death panels and blaming democrats and where the National Socialist Movement dominates the Republican Party. A Party that has members in power despite repeated violations of the 14th Amendment in the way they have aided and abetted radical domestic terrorist movements and threatened their opponents with death. A party whose coward ***** mother****er sycophants in the "news" business have been egging people on since the early 90's resulting in several incidents of violence and murder.
And then this happens. Duh.
This is what happens when you don't enforce your own laws and your own constitution and when you tolerate fascists in your midst.
