This is why I don't claim that "racism is gone, a thing of the past in the US." No it's not. Racism is still there. Racists exist. And pieces of shit like this are still harming others.

This story, in this thread, is a million times more important than some dumbass smirking 16 year old wearing a MAGA hat.
But guess which one got plastered all over every news site and news channel? Guess which story got tweeted and retweeted about absurd amounts of times? Guess which news story incited death threats and threats of violence against minors?
But why was MAGA hat wearing smirker much more important?

If the news stations covered every murdered black person for at least an hour, for every murder, they would not be able to run anything but those news stories. Because it's an epidemic. I don’t think Trump is racist against Latinos, nor Arabs. What Trump is, is an opportunist. Right now, Like any politician or business tycoon, going against the Arabs and Latinos gets him the votes.
The ideas of stronger border and the travel bans weren’t even Trump’s, they were Democrats and Republicans, with Obama creating the list for the travel bans. We never called Obama racist, so why call Trump racist for implementing them?
