They forgot Boromir!! They did Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin, but they forgot Boromir in the movie. Yes, he got a cloak and brooch but all of them had them as well. I mean, no specific gift just for him.

it was!!!

sam lied about the seasoning because he was embarassed about his gift...he did not see thge importance of it until the scouring

sam may not be too clever but he is not stupid enough to expect a roast chicken in mordor

plus if its only seasoning why was he so worried "CATCH IT CATCH IT MR FRODO" sam would never risk his masters life like that for seasoning
