Aliens vs Predator movie
I've recently watched the feature video's (at http://www.avp-movie.com/ )regarding the upcoming Aliens vs Predator movie and was wondering what others are thinking about it.
Personally I was initially upset that it wouldn't be based off the novels and comics of Aliens vs Predator (specifically the triliogy with the Japaness women I can't remeber her name), but after looking at what is out on the movie so far I think it may have promise. It may not end up a perfect 10 of 10 or something to that effect, but I think it'll turn out to be a good movie or a O.K. one at the very least.

anyhow is there any stat's for these guys? Ive been to dark horse's website and it dosent say anything about them. just Predators are stronger than regular humans and they are decent fighters not to mention have gadgets out the wazoo. but In a straight up fight how well can they do?

I've been waiting for this movie for a long time. Finally the time is come when the 2 meet in a movie enviroment, muahahahahaha. I think it's gonna be a fun movie.

Yeah, I think the movie will be at least decent because the the fact Preds and Aliens will be fighting. However, does anyone think it should have been based off of the Aliens vs Pred comic (and novel)? That's what I was hoping for when I first heard about it but now I'm thinking it may not matter.

well anderson, inquired to the original aliens vs predator comic writer on ideas and inspiration. Yeah and the only alien vs predator comics i could actually see being made into a movie would be the original series, all the others GREAT they may be are still to far fetched for a movie, or would leave the majority of the audience in the dark about what is going on. The concept of the movie sounds damn interesting. With the old alien style filmaking of closed spaces (anartica) and fast paced style of the predator genre. It looks to be a good mixture, but even hollywood can f-uck up a sure thing that has a loyal fan base

I haven't seen anything but a few pics but I hope it's actually a Vs movie and not just a dual appearance. I would actually like to see the Xenomorph Vs The Predator.

i just hope they dont use too much CGI...its cool and all, but i always thought one of the coolest things was the realism Pred. and aliens brought to the screen.
