Could that mean Maul survives SOD?

Or perhaps this takes place at the same time as SoD, during Maul's and Dooku's partnership.

Also, from the concept art apparently Dooku at some point is defeated by Vos as well, and Ventress is also saved(?) by him.

Let the Vos wank commence!

Who else could it possibly be, though? Quinlan Vos stands over him with rays of light shining off of him, victorious under a smoking foe that intensely resembles Count Dooku. And then the next panel depicts him walking away carrying an injured Assaj Ventress into the sunset.

No one else but Dooku could fit in that scenario, man.
