My boyfriends mom is in the OR getting a liver transplant.
And I'm really really worried, I went over to his house this moring around 8 and she got the call to come in so I was with them until 8 pm in the hospital when they took her into the OR (the 12 hours waiting was just prepping) The surgeons said it may take from 8 to 14 hours and since she is a tiny lady the liver may be to large. My dad has had several surgeries on his back, nothing this major, but it's always worrying when a loved one is under the knife. Just remember that these doctors are professionals and totally know what they're doing, she'll probably be fine.
