Am I EMO?

Im sorry people this is one guy that has made some of of Emo haters unhappy(I think). I justed wanted to ask Am I Emo? The reason why I asked is because Im quiet and I don't really socialize much. Also people say I have a boring personality. If I ever became EMO I will never devote myself to cutting my wrist. So can anyone tell me......AM I EMO?

Im not gay cuz people think EMOS are *******. just to throw that out there. If your going to give me a hard time about me asking u all about rather im a EMO or not just don't do it in a bad way.

Examples:

"Your not a EMO you stupid RETARD!"

good example:
"Your not a Emo."

As an ex-satanist who lives his f*ckin' life as metal as possible, I don't understand why metalheads bash on those they consider emo.

If it's all about the music, then emo, much like punk is dead. The genre has suffered enough with downfalls and the losses of such great personalities. I am in the Deathmetal genre for the music. A real musician mingles with all walks of life so he/she can learn. I've been to Christian rock concerts, emo shows, Jazz fests, Ska 'bouts and Metal riots and I've emerged with a new sense of understanding.

If you're speaking in terms of fashion, then by all means, if you're onstage and it's important how you look? F*ck off, and get off or be thrown out.

In terms of just socializing. Some are called emo, others refer to them as nerds or outcasts. Just admit it, some of us suck at making new friends. Let alone hanging onto them. Emo is closely related to those that live their lives with cliffhangers. Suicidal with problems and seeking attention. these people don't need to be bashed any further, they should be taken care of.

Again, what f*ckin' difference does it matter what one listens to? We're free to choose and support the bands that please us. One person says you have bad taste in music and you let it get to you? Don't give them that luxury, tell them you could care less and watch them retreat to listen to their Celine Dion.
