Life.
Who knows what life is?
Why do we have a designated number of years we're on earth?
How come humans can live up to a hundred years but a small bug or rodent or animal only lives for a few?
Nobody knows....Thats why I started this thread, because I wanted to hear your opinions and questions and statements..
What if we are NOW a reincarnation of something and dont know it? I think we're being put into some type of test or something. For example we are born as an animal, do our task, die. And are reborn into something else.
If you have ever read a book called "Nocturnal Wichcraft" by Konstious (or something like that) you will know of his theory that we live to gain somethin, to complite a task, maybe we need to learn loyality if we cheated in a pastlife or respect, he also uses a Khama (sp?) system where if we are bad in life we go down and become an animal of less value. Now I agree with him on this it just seams to make sense to me.

To become wiser. spiritual, loving, compassionate, and be more of what God is?
It would do away with the "Hell" theory. Many in the early church believed in reincarnation, like origen, Augustine. Justinian wanted to control the masses with the "Only One Life" theory.
"What did you just say?" Lol That seemed like a good quote to say at the time, because I really dont have any idea what you just said. I understand the reincarnation but as far as Augustine and origin, No..
They are early church fathers...in the first few centuries...People don't realize that not all the church fathers believed what is taught today..many believed in reincarnation...hmmmm...History, gotta read your history...
So some early fathers of the church taught the cycle of life was reincarnation along with some Jews, and Muslums...etc...
And some taught that you live and die once and either Bliss-ville, or Hell-ville. For eternity.....

One of the earliest religions is wicca or "Witchcraft" this was far before Christianity, it says that we reincarnate and live again, to learn knowledge and finally once we become "enlightened" this proses of life and death stop and we return to the "source", this is what I have come to believe as have many of the major religions today, such as Christianity, Buddhism and some neopagan traditions.
The concept of living once is something I like but unfortunately can believe due to its pure ignorance, it seems to suggest that souls are being created when ever someone is born, the afterlife would be crowded.
These questions can never be answeared because no one knows and alot of people have different views on stuff that not everyone argees with.jm

Well there are some things about life that are a mystery.. and other things that are obvious. How long we live and why can be explained by science, but there are other mysteries of life that science cannot answer yet.
