Fanboy is the term used to describe fanatic persons that have discovered an comic book character and started to feel an affinity at him. In most cases, this affinity is normal, and manifests only as liking to the character. The person can admit when his character will lose, and will not defend him in every imaginable situation. In this cases, the person is referred as "fan".
But in one case out of twenty, the affinity grows gradually, until the person evolves into monstrosity called FANBOY. Fanboyness is an psychological disorder that has close relation to schizophrenia. The exact cause to fanboyness is not known, but fanboyness is one of the most annoying psychological conditions on world. When a person suffers a case of fanboyness, something in his brain snaps. The person will have delusions that make him believe that his favorite character is unbeatable. He thinks that his favorite can beat any being, even god, with or without the right situations. He will overrate his favorites abilities. His character is always the best, most skilled and coolest.
Most fanboys are under 18. They usually don't have any knowledge of comic books outside their own favorite character. In most cases, the fanboy is not even an expert in knowledge about his own character. If you encounter an fanboy, remember that he is totally impervious to common sense. Only the most skilled specialists can cure the fanboy from the horrible disease that is known as FANBOYNESS.
