so Hulk should beat Superman (read this)
http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=91158
James Kakalios is a comic book nerd but he’s one with a secret identity. He is a physics professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Minnesota. That means when people are arguing in a comic book store about whether The Flash could outrace Superman, Kakalios might have a plausible scientific answer. Now Kakalios has taken his years worth of useful and useless knowledge and turned it into the very funny and informative book, The Physics of Superheroes.
NRAMA: There’s always that old joke about who would win in a fight between Superman and the Hulk. But can that be explained with science?
JK: From a physics point of view, I would go with the Hulk for the following reasons: the angrier he gets, the stronger he’s going to get. There’s even an explanation for this because as he’s getting frustrated there’s more adrenaline pumping in his system, so that’s a trigger for increase in his strength and if he keeps pounding on Superman until it was nighttime then Superman won’t be soaking up any solar radiation and he starts getting a little weaker. So I think eventually the Hulk might win that one, but that’s purely from a science point of view, not from a fan point of view.

Or much about human emotions. From a scientific point of view, an individual can't have infinite/unlimited rage or adrenaline. There must be some type of nourishment for someone to keep fighting.

I Hulk's case I don't think that really matters.
Hulk is always refered to as amping from anger but I think there is evidence that he also responds defensively.

Agreed. However, that doesn't make him lose any less. Superman still takes him 10/10.

maybe this guy should actually read some superman comics, that might help...
and the whole 'faster than hulk can react' thing was completely ignored too...

"Until nighttime then Superman won’t be soaking up any solar radiation and he starts getting a little weaker"
That sounds pretty absolute to me.

Again, people are equating strength with power. The two are different, not to mention that it would take Hulk a while to even get into Supes' weight class.
Anyway, closing. This isn't really worth our consideration, and is just more fuel for the ridiculous fire that is Hulk fandom.
