Didn't composite superman have all of the powers of the legion and pc superman? Including element lad and several pc kryptonians?

I have to say, he'd have a good chance here. It would be an enormous fight, and difficult on both sides.

Composite Superman was four times stronger than PC Superman (Supergirl's, Superboy's, Mon-El's, and Ultra Boy's strength levels, and four times faster; has a 12th level intellegence, can split into three people, basically every single kind of energy attack one can imagine, not at all a slouch in the telepathy department (Saturn Girl's tp owns...) magnetic powers, phasing powers, growing and shrinking powers... all coming at you with Karate Kid's skill. and element transmutation.

oh... and the dude could eat any type of matter. and turn into a ball. let those two powers hit you for a second.

Hyperstorm, on the other hand, can control the four fundamental forces of physics (damn... alliteration) to an unprecedented degree. He did get taken out by Galactus though.

I think if it was the Legion versus Hyperstorm, the legion would take this. But Composite Superman, by himself (albeit that he could make three of himself)... he doesn't have the experience necessary to beat him.

The reason he got taken out is that the type of energy that he uses (taps into Hyperspace, same as the Celestials) just happens to be the same type of energy that Galactus likes to feed upon. Galactus energy draining powers > anybody else in Marvel just about.
