one of the black Lantern Rings finds itself to the grave of Eric masterson while thor was visiting him and grieving for his friend and his refusal to become an asgardian warrior god in the Halls of Valhalla where he would continue to exist and interact with other gods dead and living.
Revived by the ring eric climbs out of his grave and attacks thor blaming him for his death.. at 1st thor in shock tries to talk to his friend.. eric in his mortal form summons his weapons the axe and mace who begin to fight the ring until they culminate into a single entity.. eric seething in anger but still retaining his original personal is suddenly attacked by the corps who thought was attacking thor..
thor angry attacks them in order to defend his friend.. eric barely in control and still seething in hate aids his friend thor, both together they slam their wpns and summon BRB and Dargo to aid them...
the Ring War has spilled over to marvel and apertures start to open as rings seek out their new recruits and latching on to them...
Thor is given the red ring but to the green Lanterns surprise their asgardian wpns somehow balances out their effects to an extend.. Thor now angry and boiling over with hate and rage knows his enemies and can separate them from his friends.. BRB is given the Yellow Ring for he is capable of instilling great fear among his enemies... Dargo is given the violet ring for his love of his wife and his sole reason for existing...
The GL's not sure what to make of this but is made easily clear as thor orders his team to attack...
sigh... do you know what thunderstrike did to thor and the avengers?! he is far above thor's league in his last incarnation prior to death and then some thx to the black ring...
The additional rings on the GLs tip it. The added power of some of the others, especially the blue in the mix, wins this.
Personally, I dunno if John could use a yellow... maybe give him the Indigo and Kyle a Violet? Or Hal the yellow since we KNOW he can use 'em, Kyle Blue, and John Indigo. Anyway, more ringslinging experience plus that Blue really help out with more rings added to the mix.
now i really wanna see some blue power ring wielding scans.. b/c the GL will need more then a constant added supply of power to win.. they bn easily beaten long b4 the ring power reserve was remotely effected
