Thanos vs JLA

Thanos has the power gem. It can't be taken away from him.

Martian Manhunter

Maxima
Orion
Captain Atom
Captain Marvel
Uncle Sam
Plastic Man
Superboy (Conner)

DC characters are pre reboot

No BFr

Fight is in Metropolis.

JLA gets 1 day to go over files which contain EVERYTHING about Thanos and the power gem prior to fight. They can discuss strategy as well, but cannot bring any non-standard equipment with them to the fight.

Thanos would need the whole IG to be competitive with this team... it's a bit too much.

Even with it, he'd have a hard time.... would love to see it written.

He'd have a hard time even with the IG? Do you know what the IG even is? Hell, even Nebula, who has no powers at all, was wrecking abstract-level beings, and the abstracts themselves, with it. This team poses no threat.

Now, as for Thanos w/PG (provided that it can't be taken away from him), it would be very hard for him to lose this fight.

Unbelievably stupid to say with the IG he'd even notice this team, nevermind have a hard time with them. As for this match, I think it's very close, and I could see either side winning actually. Especially given the prep the JLA has. If they fought really well as a team, and there's no reason to think they won't, they could definitely win.

PIS is off by default in threads. So, no, the JLA wouldn't be a threat to Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet unless massive PIS took place or Thanos was trying to depower himself for the thrill of the challenge.

That said, Thanos under his own power is beyond mostly everyone here. With the Power Gem, he's welcoming the vast majority of the JLA to One Shot City.

Wasn't Thanos using nothing but the Power Gem when he depowered himself against Earth hero's IIRC? With that said, if this is true, Thanos wins this 10/10.

Thanos with the PG wins 10/10. Not a stomp, they'd put up a decent fight but in the end, defeat is inevitable.

No, all Thanos did was cut-off the extra senses the Infinity Gauntlet gave him. He still had it's full power otherwise, and used them. And this JLA line-up>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>the Earth team Thanos faced in INFINITY GAUNTLET.
