he has some good showings and some not great showings. if he gets caught by surprise he can be pretty vulnerable to having his lights punched out. can't see spidey doing it though, especially if reed is going all out as in a forum match. webbing won't work since he's pliable enough to escape any amount of it. reed should take it most of the time though either using physical power or suffocation.

one kick doesn't a battle win....reed's fought namor and ben, not to mention the hulk, and while hulk has made him look bad a couple times, reed usually holds his own against bricks. he's also done very well in h2h against doom on a couple occasions. i'd still take reed for a solid majority in this one.
One kick to the damn throat. Reed has consistently been hurt by low metas. His durability against piercing attacks is unrivaled, but when it comes to blunt force... even DD can give him a run for his money (Infinity War, billy club throw to his throat is the best example).

umm, reed said "oww...." if at the outset of the battle reed took the form of some amorphous blob for example, or even a ball, or if he 'armored up' as he has done on the past, there isn't much chance spidey could harm him. if he retains his human shape, his head has been vulnerable at times, no doubt. but no pis and a reed looking to get physical? spidey should win too many of these at all imo.
^^^you wrote about Reed and bricks and thats true, but Spidey's not really a brick. I was actuslly going to use Namor, for the heck, but like you said, Reed has a good track record. Spidey's a little different, powers wise. Thought this'd be more fun.
While in theory Red has ways to counter Spidey, in practice Peter has always done well against Reed and in general is far, far more effective in a physical fight than Reed is.
I mean Reed's powers are great, but if you compare their record (including against each other) Spider-Man comes put far on top.
