thumb up

Logos' power is completely unquantifiable at this point. The *only* reason he's gotten so far with his rampage is due to the 'instability' of the current Marvel cosmos. That's why Order&Chaos(individually) were > LT, for example -- cosmology in current Marvel is just WAY out of whack.

For that reason I would have to side with the Endless here. Their power/status/role IS well-established/defined, and they are at THE top of the pecking order in their respective continuity. Moreover, if the *entire* family is included, it means Time(father of the Endless), and Night(mother of the Endless) are here as well... Which makes me even more confident they win. thumb up

The best stuff Marvel has put out in a long while along with Star Wars. Would definitely recommend.

i don't love it. least not as much as the others. i still really dislike this lifebringer galactus though, so that is def a part of it, and i wish i could say i liked the ultimates themselves, but....i don't. from the get-go i found the basis of the series ridiculously pretentious. doubly so based on the make-up of the team. so, why do i still read it? lol there is something about the format that i like, and the approach to the story-telling overall. it has an epic 'feel' to it. i just happen to dislike many of the characters IN the epic. /shrug

I'm not a fan of Lifebringer either. What I like most about the series is that Ewing is finally defining Marvel's cosmology, and giving it some much-needed depth... It is very unique in that regard. thumb up

The Never Queen and Molecule Man. By far.

Lifebringer would be far more intriguing to me if Ewing had kept him as regular ol' Galactus... This new transformation just seems entirely pointless and unneeded. Galactus has always served a cosmological purpose: his perpetual hunger helps maintain cosmic balance/consonance. It's been that way since his inception... But now that role is randomly thrown out the window?

C'mon.

never queen is def the most intriguing of the characters. and i do like how they refer to the previous iterations of the multiverse. the latest issue was...odd. g's transformation of ego didn't quite work for me. i like the infinaut a lot, and hope to learn more about him.

have any of the recent books touched on the ff and reed and franklin? it was weird too in the latest ultimates that g referred to himself as the only survivor of the previous iteration. there were a few others who'd survived as well, including the maker--who was intro'd in the latest ultimates as well.

Not at all, which is really unfortunate. They would fit this book better than most, imo.

Perhaps Galactus simply doesn't know they survived... Yet..?

Well, Neverqueen is Slott's character. Ewing is the only writer to use her other than Slott and Slott is the only other writer to use Lifebringer Galactus. Those two are on the same page with each other.

Galactus actually specifically references surviving the 6th iteration. The current one is the 8th.

I'm trying to remember: was it ever mentioned how Galactus survived the destruction of the last multiverse? confused

I mean, at least the group of heroes and Cabal had dues ex tech(which was fortified with the f*cking SKIN of LT) on their side...
