Can Superman physically beat Wolverine to death?

There are examples of Wolverine taken down by things like this

(please log in to view the image)

And surviving things like this

(please log in to view the image)

So my question is, given a one minute time limit (Wolverine's not defending himself, he's just standing there), using only speed and strength, could Superman beat Wolverine past the point where, when the beating stopped, he could regenarate, could he actually kill him?

I was going to phrase the question differently (ask who posters thought could do it/no time limit), but settled on Superman because, well, its Superman. If Wolvie can survive this beating that answers my overall question and then some.

I'd say NO. Didn't Wolverine survive being EATIN by the Hulk?
I've never seen or heard of Supes breaking anything down to it's atomic level, so I doubt Supes could kill him permanently.

But then I guess throwing him into the sun could count...

He can't. Even WWH knew it'd be impossible and he'd break Clark worse than Bane did Bats.

Using his high feats? I doubt it. He's come back from a skeleton as your scan shows, so even if he removed all organic matter (brain, lungs heart etc), based on that scan, he's growing it all back.

Yes, potentially. He'd destroy him on the molecular level.

I don't see Superman doing that despite having the ability

I can't see him breaking adamantium, for example. Maybe he could hear the bones up by friction, cooking Wolvys bones?

From the scan I would say he still has the brain.

Superman could rip him apart, legs, arms head, you don't even really need to break much for this. Then throw the pieces into space and I don't think that Logas HF would keep his head very long alive without the rest of the body.

Yeah.

His bones are covered in adamantium, and is the source of his HF, IIRC.

Friction produces heat, and his bones are covered in a conductive material. He doesn't have to break adamantium to affect the bone marrow within.

Thats not what i'm asking for though. Beat to death, not, essentially, BFRing him.
Though that would be a neat trick, your idea.

Logan's skeleton is interconnected. Prof, you filthy infidel. I'm going to torture you in Sin's dungeon (if mistress allows it).

Does he have adamantium ligaments as well? I know that's how Ultimate Wolvy got ripped in half.

By punching.
I'll let others give or take credence from that scenario.

Not complaining. Just trying to keep the topic where i intended it to go, scenario wise.

He was strong enough to pressurize normal stone to become diamond. I'd assume he can do similar to Ada...

pretty sure that adamantium is resistant to heat. Especially since Logan has survived briefly being next to the sun. Isn't that why there was specifically a special process required to liquefy adamantium?

According to a certain friend of yours on a certain anime thread, the various everybody who keeps breaking a super metal the fighting rings composed of should be as impressive as busting adamantium.

So by that logic, Superman broke ineritron (The stuff they line Validus's cell with, which gives it one more feat then said anime hardest metal in the multiverse what keeps breaking like shale), so we should say he could break adamantium.

I mean, you wouldn't want to insult your buddies intelligence and inadvertently call him full of shit, would you? (please log in to view the image)

I think the title should be renamed to WHO can physically beat Wolverine to death. Because without outside resources it's sort of his hax ability to survive just about anythin, h2h. If Supes had some amps, sure, maybe.

Edit: not complaining about the title, I just think it's a loaded question.

The big question would seem to be-

Does Superman get access to "a rock"?
