Sue has higher highs but lower lows than Magneto due to her using force field far more than Magneto.
How so? On average they are pretty much equal IMO.
His shields have blocked everything from magic to reality warpers, telepathy, Phoenix [depowered]'s simultaneously psychic/physical assaults, Xavier's entire Psionic power, trans-dimensional particles, minaturized neutron-stars, the energies of all the x-men [iceman, storm, gambit, sunspot etc] simultaneously channeled through Bishop, Hercules, Thor's hammer, have stopped intangibility, have stopped Scarlet Witch's Hex etc.
He can also adjust them however he likes He can filter what passes or does not through it, at will. He can make them extra-strong or precise, depending on the situation.
She is not comparable in terms of versatility.
In terms of raw power, Sue has gotten nosebleeds from Ragnarok's lightning, struggled with Gladiator's psionic feedback (Magneto has taken Xavier's ENTIRE psionic energy in a single blast) and much more..

it isn't even a given she can stop regular old telepathy. and mag's field is simply an extension of his far greater power set--control over the entire planet's EM field. when he grabs someone, or shapes metal, that IS his field doing those things. maybe he can't make morning stars in the air, exactly, but he could easily duplicate nearly any effect she can create while his power extends into areas she can't come close to. he's a full on, large scale energy manipulator. her scope is far more limited.
My entire tourney was based on Sue desperately quick-drawing so that she doesn't get TPd'ed. Psionics aren't really her strong suit.
He's recently drawn power from stars/planets...
He functioned as the nervous system of the Dreaming Celestial after Sinister stole its head.
Went up against [a part] of Proteus, who was specifically outside the electromagnetic spectrum and changed his matrix.
He's jammed psionic powers close by, tampered with long-range telepathy worldwide..
Created wormholes..
etc.

yeah, i'd say superman could, unless mags was amped, but it would require some legit effort imo. his field was capable of withstanding "a few" blows from mjolnir, so, like i said, it would take some doing for superman to just punch his way through it. imo anyway.
Superman destroyed a shield in one hit that DS put around his throne despite various heroes unable to do is. This included heroes like Supergirl, Shazam...etc
Nice. Magneto has also shielded the Avengers from a "deadly" explosion, while weakened and with a 'thin, hastly erected' forcefield. And he didn't specifically say that he can't contain it, but had to redirect it, like Sue did: https://imgur.com/a/1pZO1
The magnetic fields are extension of his powerset, they're not separate. Magnetic fields control are what he does, which is why you can see him adjust his shield to block photons, intangible beings, teleportation, psychic attacks, proteus [outside the EM spectrum specifically attacks], Scarlet Witch, even Polaris [a good EM user herself], Captain Universe Spiderman, nukes etc. That's, incidentally, why they're so versatile, too.

Aside from the TP, i think i’m getting a pretty good feeling about these two being close, going by provided info, as much as that'll piss at least some ppl i know.
