--------------------------------------------- Thor
--------------------------------------------- Thor #324 (Vol.1)
Here Graviton and Thor clash and Graviton is the superior fighter. Knowing he was outclassed Thor had to use trickery and drugs to defeat him. He even admitted if he didn’t use the drugs he would have lost.
Here Graviton’ shields easily repel the full force of Cable, Vision, Deadpool, Quicksilver, Winter Solider, Captain America (Sam Wilson), Captain America (Steve Rogers) Iron Man, Rogue, Nova (Sam Alexander) Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Brother Voodoo, Ms.Marvel (Kamala Khan), Human Torch, Synapse (Emily Guerrero), and Thor (Jane Foster). Interesting to note the new female Quasar ends up breaking the shield for no other reason then plot.
When they fought one on one, Thor stuck a needle in his butt and knocked him out cold, he didn't want to kill him because he would have killed the people in the building. The two girls Graviton was getting rapey over so he needed the drug.
and? That was a tactic. Which didn't matter as graviton clearly showed he could toss thor around easily and take control of his hammer. Thor had to gamble that graviton wouldn't let the building come crashing down using the drug.
Then in Avengers when they fought one on one graviton quickly put him down to his knees
Lol at this Graviton butthurt going on. I don't understand how in any way shape or form can this even be debatable when we have the comics showings us Graviton's superiority clear as day.
Thor is always gimped in team books, the day I see him pull the shit he pulls solo in Avengers I will be very surprised. Thor's highs are ludicrous. Hence how in his own book he won with the syringe in the butt move.
Thor actually let go of his mental blocks right before the first Graviton encounter. In Avengers #149 (which is a couple issues before the Graviton story in Avengers #158-159) he says that he will no longer hold back like he previously did and goes on to solo a being who defeated all the avengers iirc. Which was pretty evident since in his solo title thor was humbling Ego and Galactus, and drawing magnetic power from galaxy, causing worldwise storms, stopping time etc.. While in Avengers title he was hardly doing anything impressive.
Yeah and then he started holding back again a lot of the time until he beats up Iron Man and says "In this time and in this place I'm not holding back". Thor has always been more powerful on his own.
Gender: Male Location: Planning to take over the WORLD!
the odd graviton reaction is kind of funny. lol never really thought of him as being a character anyone cared too much about one way or the other, but his feats are, i thought, pretty undeniable. anyway, unless we assume thor tries transmuting him, i don't see how he wins. even his lightning failed more than once. /shrug
in abhi's world, it shouldn't matter what we think thor's does here though, since he's sure orion would beat thor anyway, so....this thread puzzles me...
Never let anyone else define you. Don't be a jerk just to be a jerk, but if you are expressing your true inner feelings and beliefs, or at least trying to express that inner child, and everyone gets pissed off about it, never NEVER apologize for it. Let them think what they want, let them define you in their narrow little minds while they suppress every last piece of them just to keep a friend that never liked them for themselves in the first place.
