Cassandra mind raped Xavier and Jean at the same time when they both tried to attack her. She easily no-sold both of them and Her psychic attack left Jean a drooling mess.
And she did it casually, without any strain or effort. And this was a Jean Grey who had began to manifest the Phoenix.
Doesn't that just make Xavier as powerful as J'onn?
I mean, he matched a lot of Xaviers bigger feats without Cererbo.

A Starro controlled something like nine galaxies, though.
That's how the humanoid alien became so powerful.

Xavier also performed many of his bigger feats without Cerebro. There's no way that Xavier with his power amped to the 10th degree via Cerebra makes him only equal to J'onn.
We haven't seen an upper limit for Cassandra's power, but she's steamrolled through some of Marvel's top psychics (who were amped), and casually bypassed the Shi'Ar psi-defense to control Gladiator like a puppet.
In terms of telepathic battle, she might have the best feats in the Herald tiers.
Somebody who was totally tapped in to the Mind Gem, I guess. And incarnations of Phoenix - White Phoenix of the Crown, Dark Phoenix, etc.
After herald levels though, you start to get to the point where all powers blend together and everybody has some measure of reality warping, so it's hard to say at that point. Like, presumably Galactus, Odin, Celestials etc can't be measured in a tp battle.
Cassandra's best feats are all in combat and sheer telepathic might though. Other tps have better feats of range and precise skill, but that's partially because Cassandra is a villain with relatively few appearances.
Gender: Male Location: Planning to take over the WORLD!
didn't xavier come back at the end of that arc though when his mind was reconnected, and totally eff her up while SHE was amped 10-fold by cerebra? that seems like just as awesome a feat for chuck as her initial takeover of him, no...? unless i'm missing something or not remembering that scene correctly.
I believe she was in Charles's body at that time. So she was limited by his physiology.
And it was a joint attack by both Jean with the Phoenix Force and Xavier, whose mind was scattered across all minds on the planet, waiting for Cassandra to connect to them all.
At full power, Shadow King. People saying they'd be impressed if Cassandra controlled Legion....Shadow King has already done that while steamrolling Xavier.
Keep in mind, they had to use every telepath in Marvel twice, as the first attack just made Shadow King stronger...

Remind me: Did we ever get a vote on Cassandra Nova vs Cassandra Cain?
I was kind of drunk at the time, but I don't remember anyone actually voting... just.... laughing.

It always looked to me like Xavier had already disengaged from Cerebra when Nova attacked him. She's strong, but that feat is definitely up for debate.
The current arc is building up into what might be Jean slapping Cassandra silly. They hinted at Cassandra being scared of "her", with "her" being Jean from context clues. Throw in Jean saying she was holding back all those years for fear of the Phoenix taking over, and Jean is poised to make some noise here.
And going by Rachel's power jump, it seems like losing the Phoenix is a good thing lol.
