The following characters get as much prep as they want and one chance at killing Thanos. But they try to do it faster than their competitors. If they fail at their one chance, they're disqualified.
Who are the fastest to do so and in what order? Does anybody go there and think they've got it but fail?
Contestants are:
Tony Stark
Hank Pym
Reed Richards
Doctor Doom
Bruce Banner [yes, he can use the Hulk, too]
No bfr.
Thanos gets a heads up 1h in advance pertaining to which one of them is coming for him. [If] he gets killed, reality is reset, and the remaining contestants [that haven't won or been disqualified] go again in trying to do so.

Tony Stark's have the tools to travel to him much more quickly than the others and he have a weapon that could melt Thanos with a single attack (Celestial armor). He takes this.
So soon to forget that Thanos survived being bombarded by Omega the Thanosai clone? Omega was stated as being more powerful than Galactus himself. Do we know how much power Tony was outputting in comparison to Omega? Thanos was hit multiple time by a Cosmic Cube and continued to rise to his feet. Odin’s blasts would not keep him down, and Thor who is not yet as powerful as Odin was before him, could not keep Thanos down either.
Meanwhile, Thor tore through that very same suit with one toss of his hammer. Thanos would pull Tony out of that suit and choke him.
The clone never showed anything to be comparable to Galactus in power. Also, how much power was the clone using on Thanos?
Yes we know how much power the Celestial armor was dishing out. Stated on panel to be dishing out power equivalent to a hundred thousand suns exploding.
Thanos was hit by a weakened cube.
Thor is empowered by the most powerful sky Father in marvel on top of the already immense power he have. This is the same guy that was wrecking Knull with just a part of that power. Surprised you're trying to use this version of Thor hurting someone as a low showing, lol
Thor has no feats to suggest that he is as powerful as Odin was at this present time. We went over this already. Omega was stated on panel to be more powerful than Galactus.
One hundred exploding suns that could have just as easily have been hyperbole. Tony’s armor didn’t seem capable of dishing out that much power. But you may be correct.
Did it ever state that the Cube was weakened or that is was dying? I ask because I honestly forget. Something that is dying may still be capable of generating full powered blasts, especially if said device were in a position of being a slave device. If it said weakened then that is another story entirely. We would then have no way to quantify it’s power output, unless we were to look at it’s destructive potential based on collateral damage.
Can I also remind you that Thanos toyed with a Phoenix Avatar? These guys are able to make Gladiator look like a low meta. Just basing that off of his battle with members of the Phoenix Five.
Thor has not done anything of note yet. He has yet to prove that he is as proficient with the Odin Force as Odin was. Was he not in possession of the Odin Force when Immortal Hulk clowned him by smothering him?
For armor capable of outputting that much power, you’d think that Mjolnir would’ve bounced off of it as well. Seems kind of flimsy for something that was claimed to be capable of outputting the power of 100,000 stars doesn’t it?
The King in Black series was one of the worst written arcs out there. Knull begins off with being a Celestial slayer, but then has trouble with a Sky Father. Just how powerful were these Celestials? They do come in different power ranges after all. To put this mildly, Knull jobbed. A bi-product of his (Gorr) was more impressive, or at least as impressive. Nah… he was most certainly more impressive, as he had Old man Thor on the ropes, and Old Man Thor by rule of Asgardian age and power levels would have been more powerful than the younger version of himself that we are currently reading about. Not just that, but Gorr fought against three Thors. Again, this was a bi-product of Knull.
I’ve been looking all over for the scene that shows him throwing multiples of punches, even though I have read it, I don’t know which comic it was from. However I did just find a piece that explains to people just how fast he is.
SUPERMAN, WE'RE CURIOUS, HOW SUPER ARE YOU?
We've clocked Superman at mach 9350 inside earth’s atmosphere. That speed equates to around 2000/miles per second. Simple multiplication shows us that Superman's speed within our atmosphere is 120,000/miles per minute.
While on a galactic mission for peace, Superman triggered a malfunction inside our deep system satellite, the “Hubble-Millennia”. Sagantech was interviewed about the reported malfunction and we were all shocked to find out “a malfunction is the built in response to an object breaking light speed".
Let's assume (not my favorite thing to do) the fight was with an Earthling, Jet Li perhaps. Superman has just dodged an 80 mph 3 piece combo leaving Jet Li, out of JP8 for the next 60 seconds.
Superman moves at 120,000/miles per minute. There are 5,280 feet in a mile. That means Superman can move at 633,000,000/feet per minute. His first punch is launched from two feet away at mach 9350. Superman retracts his fist the same 24 inches and fires again.
We have 2 feet required for each knuckle sandwich being delivered and 2 feet needed to load the next. Superman’s fist moves at 633,000,000/feet per minute. When we divide that number by the 4 feet required each time he jacks Jet's jaw, we can inform Miss Lane at the “Planet” we're certain that
SUPERMAN CAN GIVE 158,400,000 punches in one minute.
