Bastila before she is turned or after?
To be honest, I think it might not matter, actually, because Bastilla was respectably skilled and Obi-Wan was still really a padawan. He did defeat droids and put up a good fight against Darth Maul, but Bastila was seasoned enough to beat off Obi-Wan Kenobi (even though I think Darth Maul is better than Bastila and Obi-Wan killed Darth Maul, admittedly not in fair combat). I like the fight, though.
and before anyone says it, because i know people will. bastilla can not use her battle meditation without being killed. she has to actually sit down and meditate, giving any person shes fighting a free shot
IMO she still takes it though. she was trusted enough by the jeedai council to lead a strike team against revan, who im sure the jeedai were underestimating, but still, they sent her in against a sith lord, that has to say something about her.

As to Bastila being a padawan, yes, I know - but thank you, Vader, for the well-put correction. I have to learn to make sure to cover all bases and write everything I think. And I agree that that point of view is completely valid. Good job filling in the gaps!
I agree with Human Vader as usual. Bastila was sent to stop Lord Revan, she escaped from that cage even with a neural disruptor, she had a Force chain with Revan, went everywhere he did, fighting with him, and even held off Darth Malak for a short time.
