Here's my version of a....black Justice League!!!

Here's my version of a....black Justice League!!!

Silver Sentry - Leader of this new team
of African American superheroes as well as the inspiration and
conscience of the team.

Nighthawk - He's the team's master strategist and the most superb
fighter of this group of heroes. Although he's pretty much an
unofficial member of the team(much like Batman in the JL cartoon)
he would still be a valued member to the team.

Amazon - The Amalgam Universe version of
both Storm & Wonder Woman would be included in team.
She would be 'glue' that keeps this team together. Although her
weather manipulating powers would be limited she would have
superpowered abilities similar to that of the amazons of Paradise
Island.

Green Lartern(John Stewart) - He would
be the militant, welly organize of the group. My version of John is
based on the cartoon version from Justice League Unlimited.

The Blur - Stanley Stewart is not only
the humorous member of the team but, also the fastest scout they
could ever have. He may not be as fast as Silver Sentry is but,
at least Stan has heart....and a dose of humor on the side.

Icon - He would be the 'odd guy out'
of this team(since he's really an alien in the form of a black man).
He now has the ability to change back and for to his original form
and his other humanoid form.

Freedom Beast - With his mind control,
super strength, healing factor and his ability to fused two animals(or
more) into one chimera-like being, this guy is pretty much another
valued member(besides Nighthawk) for this team of heroes.

Together these African American superheroes will defend the earth
from dangers from land, sea, air and even the very reaches of space
itself....whether the world accept them or not. They would be known
as The United League of America!!!

By-the-by, what team of a 'Black Justice League' would pick for
your version?

The United League of America fights a supervillain in New York City.

The NYPD thinks the ULA are actually a superpowered group of gangbangers and proceed to shoot at them. The supervillain escapes.

Nighthawk gets shot and the ULA retliates.

The US government launches an anti-ULA program to destroy the ULA.

The ULA disbands, learning that in such a racist ass world how could they possibly have thought an all-black superhero team would work....

and mascot.........Jim Wilson(nephew of Sam Wilson aka The Falcon)!!!

Only this time it's not the homosexual black man version but, it's
the angry black teen version of the 1970s.
